Arloh who was waiting for a taxi after school looked out the corner of his eye, sighting the new girl at class today,the girl was walking towards the bus stop and playing with her hair, seemingly just in a state of idle thought.
But even the way she walked annoyed him,watching her walk just pissed arloh off, arloh knew what kind of girl she was, she was going to make this school year insufferable,he didn't need another main character queen in their class,he sighed and went back to scrolling on his phone as he waited ,the girl walked past right by him and to no surprise didn't notice him as she nearly bumped him out the way,or she did notice Him and couldn't be bothered to apologize... arloh concluded in his thoughts, but the girl standing in front of him a few seconds later seemed to still really be in deep thought and didn't even notice when the quiet sidewalk turned chaotic with people screaming to her to move out the way,still just standing there playing with a strand of her hair, arloh immediately acted reflexively and pulled her out of the way of the maniac biker, basically saving her life.....
And there they were, ...enemies who both knew they were at war without having ever said anything to each other or known each other for over 24 hours,..trapped in what would look like a hug to anyone who didn't know the cause, the two stayed in the weird semi hug for a bit as Rei was still dazed from the sudden events and arloh, shocked as well.
"Okay let me go sir knight" Rei broke the silence in a rather crude tone, "hmm hmm" arloh cleared his throat feeling slightly awkward "are you okay?" he asked ,even though he knew he'd hate this girl he was still concerned as a person.
"Yeah yeah ,you can go now" Rei responded rudely and turned away and walked to a safer spot at the bus stop away from the direct sidewalk, arloh stood there stunned by her rudeness, not even a thank you for saving her life,he definitely hates her guts now, he scoffed and went back to his phone tilting his head at disbelief of how rude the new girl is , "or is she like this to me specifically? Whatever" he remarked as he finally got a taxi to pull over and got in.
"Why was I so rude to him, he saved my life" Rei thought to herself realising how she acted might have been a bit much even for her, "whatever not like he cares, if no one else was there he would have pushed me in the way rather than pull me out of it ..but wait why do I hate this guy so much?" Rei contemplated with herself " oh I remember his stupid face is jealous of me getting attention.." Rei quickly got pulled back into her vortex of thinking about herself.. *oh well ,it's not my fault I get attention both as a guy and a girl,I'm just that cool* she thought to herself feeling all smug and shrugged it off and went back to thinking about the potential lunch and dinner candidates for later...

The next morning arrived and remi had gone to bed the previous day certain he would be back to being male the next morning...well that did not happen.
Remi stood in front of the mirror for a bit ,confused about why he's not back to normal yet, could something be wrong maybe? . "This is new, I've never been stuck as a girl for over a day before, I'll have to tell mom or maybe see what happens in a few more days." He or more accurately 'she' shrugged it off and went to get dressed for school "unfortunately my class won't get to see my handsome awesome self today either , I guess they'll just have to adore my beautiful lady self while they wait" remi stated , while he truly believed most of the things he said about himself as exaggerated and outrageous as they tended to be..., he often talked big just as a way to distract himself whenever he was overwhelmed.

A 6 year old remi is sitting alone on the swings at the school playground ,it's a foggy day due to rain earlier, the floor is damp and it's cold and depressing outside, remi felt just like the weather but his bright yellow raincoat and orange boots contrasted how he felt inside, he was sad cause he had messed up again, the other kids don't understand that he didn't mean it ..he sighed as he watched his classmates play in a puddle seperate from him they had refused to let him join in when he simply told them they were not playing 'splash splash' the right way and told them to look at how he did it, they said they didn't want to look and told him to go away.
"Hey why are you here .." the little girl heaved heavily then continued "... alone" the girl who had just joined the school today noticed remi was not playing with the others and came to ask him ,she was a curious one, remi looked at the girl who had appeared out of nowhere next to him, her hair was short for a girl and she had a runny nose ,her boots were too big for her feet and her face was plump and bright red , probably from the cold,she looked like a tomato to remi, but his parents had taught him over and over that saying funny things about people's appearance was wrong so he thought it would be better not to call her a tomato . " I messed up again, my mom and dad say I should not act that way but sometimes it's hard" remi responded in 'puzzle pieces' to the girl,pushing the swing slightly with his feet ..the girl grabbed the swing from behind and started pushing remi. "What is hard?" She asked as she pushed him in the swing .
"I always think I'm better than others and sometimes I say bad things ,I'm trying not to anymore because my mom and dad say it's not good ,but it's reaaaaaaly hard sometimes" remi replied as he kicked his feet up to get more airtime from the girl's pushes . "i don't think it's bad to be better..."the girl said as she gave remi a push again ,with a little extra this time "...just don't say mean things to others" she added "well my dad told me one time that there is always somebody better than me at something" remi contradicted "yes.." the girl started as she pushed the swing again "...but MY dad said we should always try to be better"
"Hmmm." Remi scrunched his face thinking "I don't try ,I think I am just better than people" he added.The girl pushed the swing again "if you are better than everyone, then you won't need any friends , my dad says we should try to be better than only ourselves not others" she pushed the swing again and sniffled so keep her runny nose from leaking " what does that mean ?" Remi asked having not a clue "I dunno.."the girl shrugged "..I guess he just means don't say bad stuff to other kids" both kids nodded at their genius conclusion "just say sorry to the others and don't say bad things anymore, or tell them you are better than them, I think I will be sad if someone said they are better than me" the girl added her thoughts as she pushed the swing . "Hmm I'll not say mean things to anyone anymore, I will be better than only myself ,like your dad said" remi concluded feeling like he learnt something new, "hey what's your name ?"remi asked "my name is chara, what's your name?" chara asked back as she kept pushing the swing. "I'm remi , push the swing harder " he replied and passed his order at the same time, the girl happily complied pushing the swing with all her might ,the two started giggling and laughing excited at how high and fast the swing went and remi didn't even mind taking turns to push chara on the swings instead, he'd never do that for another kid in class....

Arloh woke up ready to drag himself back to school,he didn't hate school but with the new girl he had a feeling today would be a pain, he walked over to the bathroom to groom himself,arloh was a bit of a 'clean freak' the young man always had a well kept appearance ,even when asleep,his flowing light blonde hair was always tied neatly in a short bun, he was quite tall too he was already 6'1 at just 18 ,though he never thought he'd have more growing to do ,he hoped not, he liked his current height,he already had a sort of lanky frame and didn't want to look any 'longer' .He didn't think too much of himself, contrary to what everyone else thought of him, he was fairly athletic and attractive,with beautiful flowing hair and rich dark brown eyes,having a very masculine and chiseled bone structure, a little moustache above his upper lip ,and though he looked lanky because of his height his body was well built from all the sport and exercise he did ,and with his pale but glowing white skin, there was nothing soft about his features . But he always tried to be nice and warm contrary to his demeanor, as most will describe him as not troublesome but cold, maybe he didn't quite have the warm and friendly attitude down yet.
He finished getting dressed and cleaned up his room , he picked up his phone and wondered why remi had not posted in a while, remi posted on his socials quite often,he then remembered remi's cousin who he still found it hard to believe was related to remi,he hoped remi was nothing like her in person when he eventually showed up at school. Now if anyone could read his thoughts they will wonder why arloh would care about remi or 'rei' to think about them while at home or to know about remi's social media activity, well that was because arloh here was a day one superfan of Remi 'the e-sports golden boy'.the T-shirt with remi's face on it hanging on his wardrobe door was one proof out of a few others.
