Remi gets dressed and ready to go another day playing the role of ‘rei’ . As he leaves his apartment he runs into ‘the neighbour’ again,their doors faced each other and were only separated by the rather spacious corridor in between, usually when these two ran into each other the few times they had , it was either just a nod of acknowledgement to each other or if when remi was out and about as Rei ,the neighbour would just say nothing and stare curiously for a bit .
But this time the neighbour reacted differently to Rei ,the young man who looked roughly the same age as remi perked up when he noticed the girl next door was dressed in the same school uniform as him, he had a shag haircut of ginger hair that glowed and contrasted his dark skin tone in a way that worked together,a freckled face that complimented the smile his face had locked on and wide eyes with eyeballs so dark and piercing they probably were just actually black , remi studied his features and overall vibe and thought he reminded him of a ginger fur'd guinea pig or hamster.… “oh hey! Are you going to the same school as me? No way!” the neighbour exclaimed showing enthusiasm as though he'd known the girl prior to this meeting. Rei flinched a bit, taken by surprise at his reaction and sudden ‘loud’ demeanour. “Um yes ,it seems so.” Rei responded while eying the neighbours uniform to confirm it was the same school, “come come, let's go together I always make sure to catch the bus at this time, it's the fastest way and cheapest to get to school, it's even faster than a cab” the neighbour shared his knowledge with excitement as he closed the door to his home and started walking briskly, expecting with no doubt for the girl to follow .

Rei knowing It'd be easier to just go with him than reject his invitation followed as the neighbour had predetermined, as the two headed to the elevator the neighbour continued his dialogue “...oh I'm jerry by the way, spelt j-e-r-i , so jeri, and you?” He turned his head at the girl beaming with a smile. “I'm rem- Rei…Rei is my name” Rei responded as she did the awkward ‘nod and look at the numbers’ everyone does when they are trapped with a talker in the elevator.
“Nice to meet you Rei..” Jeri said warmly as the elevator arrived at the ground floor and the two made their way out and to the bus stop outside the apartment complex , “....so what class are you in ?” Jeri asked, finally relaxing his tone,his excitement had finally been regulated but he was still very interested in the new potential friend . “ grade 11 class B…” Rei replied distracted as she immediately began digging around in her bag for gum with a rather serious face, which immediately went back to relaxed as soon as she found a pack of gum “....oh wait that was last year ,grade 12 I mean” she corrected herself as she ‘attacked’ her prey - the pack of gum .
“Oh that's nice I'm in class A ,the superior class” jeri said raising his brow and deepening his voice in a joking tone, obviously giving away that maybe class A wasn't so superior to class B. “oh bus is here …” he gave the heads up to Rei and they both got in the bus, as soon as they got in Jeri looked straight at the seats at the back “damn it Trisha! Wake up you lazy hippo!” Jeri shouted out causing other passengers on the bus to turn around a bit as he walked straight at the back seats of the bus . At the back seat was Trisha ,the girl was fast asleep with a pile of books in her lap and a couple on the floor , her wavy long flowing jet black hair covered her face with a “pink rose styled “ hair pin somehow still managing to stay on the messy hair ,her head tilted to the left as she looked almost like a corpse sound asleep at the empty row of the backseats with no one else but her in it. Jeri sat next to the girl and shook her softly, “wake up Trish” ,the girl jolted ‘back to life’ her hair flying off her face revealing the rosy cheeked, green eyed face of hers , and pouty lips that seemed to perpetually be that way cos of her rabbit like two front teeth, she was cute almost like a rabbit, rei thought to herself, she watched the two and they were a funny but good looking pair to her *a hamster and a rabbit* “hmmph” rei let out a slight chuckle as she found the “rodent” likenesses she had given the pair rather funny to think about .

“I’m awake , I'm up” Trisha said softly wiping the drool off her face, and looking around “oh Jeri..it's you, I saved us the seats” she said as she looked up at her friend who looked rather upset. “Why are you on the bus already, I'm supposed to pick you up, how are you here already and by yourself?” Jeri asked with a tone that sounded more concerned for than cross with the girl. “Oh I spent the night at my aunt's place last night so I couldn't go home so I left for school from her place and had to get on the bus from an earlier stop” Trisha explained. “Don't do that next time it's not safe..” Jeri scolded as he took a handkerchief out his pocket and handed to Trisha “...aish you drooled all over your face clean that up” he handed her the handkerchief and sighed like a nagging mom , “hey who's that standing behind you ?” Trisha noticed Rei standing behind Jeri “is she a sorority girl?” She added, hiding her mouth behind her hand ,but it was a rather loud whisper that anyone would hear . “What's a sorority girl?” Rei asked as she stood there chewing her gum rather intensely with both hands in the sides of her skirt like there were pockets , her skirt had no pockets, one of the things remi hated about being a girl. “I dunno I heard it somewhere and it sounded like a substitute for a mean girl” Trisha responded bluntly . “Hmm maybe I am a sorority girl..” Rei shrugged and nodded in agreement “hmmm” Trisha hummed and nodded in agreement as well.

“She's not a sorority girl …” Jeri said in a tired tone as he slumped in the seat next to Trisha, “..she's my neighbour who joined our school recently, she's in class B, Rei this is Trisha, Trisha this is Rei” he introduced the two and relaxed in his seat , “ah hi Rei!” Trisha immediately switched to welcoming as she realized the ‘sorority girl’ was an ally of Jeri .
“Hey jeri why were you scolding her for getting on the bus earlier , is it some competition between you two?” Rei asked as she took a seat on the opposite side to Trisha sitting rather relaxed and low in the seat and stretching her legs out and apart to enjoy the leg room. *Oh my! So unruly* Trisha thought to herself on seeing how Rei sat and winced a bit but said nothing *sorority girls are not very womanly it seems* she concluded in her thoughts. “Oh that..” Jeri started his response to Reis question looking at Trisha to get a visual signal if it was okay to talk about, which he got with her shrugging lightly . “...so Trisha is narcoleptic you see..” (narcolepsy is a condition that makes a person fall asleep randomly with little to no control over when or where ,regardless of tiredness and other factors) “...and I usually pick her up from her stop and we go to school together so I can look out for her on the bus if she ever falls asleep..” Jeri explained “...so I was concerned to see her here by herself, sleeping on the bus” . “Ah I see” Rei said and nodded while blowing a bubble with the gum in her mouth .
“I usually don't fall asleep on the bus, I just forgot my medication at home and couldn't get any coffee at my aunt's so today might be a rough day” Trisha added ,clearing up the situation. “To be fair , even without the narcolepsy you are one lazy hippo, you sleep 50% of the day by choice anyways” Jeri added, calling out that Trisha loved to sleep on top of having a sleeping condition, Trisha didnt deny it and simply gave Jeri a light smack on the head , “ow!” Jerry rubbed his head and said nothing more to not invoke the wrath of all 4’9 of the treacherous Trisha.

Trisha agreed with Jeri she knew she was a sleepyhead, she was also the lazy queen of the school ,if not the entire city . The school was so accustomed to her sleeping and exploits of laziness ,that no one dared tamper with Trisha's self made hammock in between two trees at the back of the school, she'd set up camp there almost every lunch break with Jeri close by keeping watch and reading a book while she slept or the two just hanging out if she managed to keep her eyes open, the two were very close friends, Rei saw their friendship similar to hers, or more fitting his and charas friendship, Jeri was the caretaker like chara and Trisha just like remi was the one who seemed to get all the care and attention but definitely cared just as much for their friend.

Jeri and Trisha though ,seemed to be interested in adding Rei as the third friend to their group as they'd engage in talks telling Rei about things at school and being very warm and friendly,while Trisha pried her eyes open to stay awake, as the bus drove along. Rei didn't mind these two, usually the only person she cared for other than her parents was chara, but these two seemed to adore her so much she figured she wouldn't mind hanging around them, if not a friend's but maybe as adoring fans of hers , she could use a super fan or two, she thought to herself as she listened to “rodent pair” eagerly tell her things about the school and made the bus ride more enjoyable than she had expected, these new ‘fans’ were quite alright to have around.
