Niti couldn’t concentrate during classes at school and couldn’t stop thinking about the dream. After the math lesson, she felt a strong urge to tell Trisha what happened. When Niti told her she had a cute dream in which Amara was talking, Trisha laughed so hard. She tapped her hand, saying, “Tell me the dream in detail.”
Niti told the dream in detail, and after hearing everything, Trisha thought for a while and said, “Melodious voice? Now I want to hear her singing.”
“Don’t say this! I might see singing Amara in a dream tonight.”
“That would be nice! But this time your dream should be longer.”
“No, I don’t want to see any strange dream anymore.”
“You know, I also saw a dream about my doll once, but she wasn’t talking in the dream.”
“What did you see in the dream?”
“I saw I lost my doll, and my cousin helped me find her.”
“When you couldn’t find her in the dream, did you cry?”
“Yes, I cried a lot in my dream!”
When Niti went to her house, she told her parents about the dream. Both of them laughed a lot listening to that.
Then Niti’s father said in a calm voice. “Sometimes, we see certain things in our dreams when we think about them very much.”
Niti’s mother replied, looking at Niti, “Yes, that's true! When I was a child, I had a dream of a unicorn. I used to watch a cartoon of unicorns, and I thought about them a lot!”
Niti rolled her eyes and asked, “Unicorns?”
“Yes, unicorns! That cartoon was so engaging! I watched that cartoon for two years, and when it ended, I cried profusely. I really loved that cartoon!”
Niti responded instantly, “I also like a cartoon, but it’s about bears.”
Niti’s father interrupted, “Real bears or teddy bears?”
“Those are real bears, and they look very cute. All of them are polar bears.”
Niti’s mother said, smiling, “Polar bear sounds interesting.”
Niti gave a bright smile, saying, “Yes, they are interesting creatures. That’s why I enjoy watching that cartoon!”
Niti’s father said, pretending to be excited, “One day we will watch the cartoon with you.”
“I’m sure both of you will also like that cartoon. Those creatures are funny and adorable! They often play pranks on their neighbours.”
Niti’s father asked, “Are they family members?”
“No, they are friends. They live near each other, and the youngest of them looks the cutest.”
“The cartoon seems to be very entertaining! A lot of kids probably enjoy watching it.”
“Yes, it is!”
After a while, Niti’s mother asked, “Do you want to sleep in our room tonight? Are you scared because of the strange dream?”
“No, Ma, I am not scared. Don’t worry! The dream was definitely strange and unusual. But it wasn’t scary. My doll, Amara, isn’t intimidating at all. She doesn’t give that kind of vibe. I really like her!”
Niti’s father patted Niti's back, saying, “That’s my daughter! She’s brave!”
