- Who are you? - Arika was shocked by Yasha's sudden appearence.
- I'm Yasha, a 14-year-old boy from the Russian Moon Base... - Yasha started.
- Wait, how do we now you're not a part of the Perseids? - Arika was suspicious of him.
- The other agents wrongfully accused me of being a saboteur, but I've proven my innocence by providing evidence that incriminated Dawn, the real mole. I looked through the logs of a mining rig that was blown up and checked the ID number of the last person who interacted with the rig. After checking everyobody in the base, it turned out to be Dawn. I joined the agents and helped in defeating the Perseids by detatching a wagon from a train filled with enemies... - Yasha continued.
- You guys fought bad guys on a train? - Arika turned to us, sounding jealous.
- Yes - we nodded in response.
- Wow, that must have been exciting... - she added.
- It was quite stressful, since there were several people constantly trying to kill us. Plus, we accidentally wrecked the Lunar Express after failing to defeat Dawn... - Sebastian noted.
- Still, sounds more exciting than my last mission... I was stuck writing a program undercover in China, without fighting anyone... - Arika sighed.
- Anyhow, I also provided the agents with a map of the lunar lava tubes, which was crucial to disarming a powerful bomb... - Yasha finished
- Okay, but how are you here? - Arika was still suspecting something.
- I hacked into the security camera in Chris's cell in the Prison and he took it during his escape. Plugging it in allowed me to traverse the system, that's how I circumvented the scanner right here... - Yasha explained. I agreed, as I witnessed this myself.
- Why did you do all of this? Did you know about his capture? - Amber referred to me, also curious.
- After the Perseids fled the Moon, I chose to track them down, or at least try to. I used the Russian satelite network to determine the rocket's location, which was obviously the Hyperspace. I wanted to run an investigation of my own and see what I can find. I found out about your presence when you broke into the waiter in the café and followed you through your mission, but lost connection when you went to the restricted floors. I scanned through them and a few hours later found Chris in his cell, where I helped him escape - Yasha told us.
- So you've been tracking us the whole time? - Claudius raised his eyebrow.
- I know it sounds evil, but yes. Almost the whole time, as I said - Yasha pretended to be unmoved by this, but I sensed a bit of guilt in his voice for following us.
- Do you know anything we don't? - Arika asked.
- Not really, but the androids are acting weirdly... - he replied.
- Are they... going rogue? - I thought back to my interrogation with Bruise.
- Sort of, but they're not attacking anyone. However, they're preventing anyone from reaching the upper levels. I don't know why - there was audible concern in Yasha's voice.
- Let's go back to the public floors - Sebastian ordered.
- Good idea - Yasha's projection nodded. I detached the camera and we went up to the living area, specifically floor 3A.
Upon our arrival, there was no sign of androids, which only fueled our anxiety. Moreover, the "flying" cars were gone, which meant that we had reach our dorms on foot. Yasha was still connected thanks to the camera's battery, but that was running low, so it was a matter of time before he vanishes. However, I heard footsteps through the camera, along with a familiar voice.
- Why were you tracking our agents? - it was Einstein, our caretaker. There was a dialogue between them, but I didn't hear it, so Einstein probably muted the microphone. The projection came back onto the wall, with Einstein sitting beside Yasha.
- Kids, can you hear me? - he asked and we replied with "Yes".
- Good. We have some news for you. Do you want to hear the good news or the bad news first? - Einstein gave us a choice and we decided on the good news - We found this Yasha guy tracking you and came to the Russian Moon Base to confront him. He told us that he's helping you. Is that true?
- Yes - Arika approved.
- Okay, now for the bad news... - Einstein paused, not sure how to bring them to us - our prisoner, Dawn Baker, managed to escape...
- What?! How??? - We all asked simultaneously.
- It seems like she bribed some civilian astronauts and got what could be described as a free ticket to the Hyperspace, so she's probably there. Nigel's obviously angry with me, even though it's not my fault. Funny enough, it was his men that let their guard down, but you know Captain Nigel... - Einstein added and we frowned.
Captain Nigel tends to have outbursts of rage when someone disagrees with him and his authority, which is what probably happened now. To make matters worse, Nigel was already angry with Einstein before this, because the latter defied his orders to save our lives and help us foil the evil plot. Now, Nigel took his accumulated anger out on Einstein. However, the most concerning part was that Dawn is free and on the same space station as us. We were looking at every crevice, fearing her attack.
- May I tell them something? - Yasha approached Einstein and he agreed - There seems to be some weird robot activity in the Orbital City. Can you go up and see what's going on? - the boy turned to us.
It took us a while to reach the nearest elevator, so we were absolutely exhausted upon finally entering it. As we slowly went up, we noticed that there was a very small amount of androids on the floors we passed by. Most of them came to the Orbital City, as we found out upon arriving there.
The androids instantly surrounded us and prevented us from moving any further.
