COMA HQ – Umbra Island
The storm hadn’t passed. It had simply moved.
Now it raged beneath the surface.
Umbra Island—hidden heart of COMA. A steel-laced paradise veined with secrets. Every league head sat in the obsidian circular chamber: Astrynox, Umbra, Pyronox, Virelios, and Caelthorn. Alongside them were the surviving former heads, their presence casting long shadows.
At the center stood Elda Kurogane, her fingers laced, expression unreadable.
Naoko Rathore—League Head of Virelios and Avni’s mother—broke the silence.
“Viktor Reznov,” she said sharply, “was confirmed murdered two months ago.”
A stunned wave moved through the room.
“But—” one of the Pyronox envoys began, “he was in the last League meeting just days ago!”
“He was,” Elda said. “Or someone pretending to be him.”
Naoko crossed her arms. “Which means someone’s puppeteering Pyronox. From the inside. Or worse—above it.”
Murmurs grew louder. Accusations floated like ash.
“We need answers,” Gianluca Moretti said calmly, appearing via holo. “Fast.”
Elda nodded. “This isn’t just about Pyronox. This could compromise COMA’s entire structure.”
The meeting adjourned. Most filtered out in whispers, shadows stretching long behind them. Only four remained:

And all of them knew—something darker was coming.
En Route to Umbra – Aboard Ravenfall’s Plane
Luce leaned against the cabin door, eyes half-closed. The quiet hum of the engines was the only thing grounding him. Until—
“Why is Erik shirtless?” Ishaan asked loudly.
Everyone turned.
Raiden and Erik were curled up on the plush couch, tangled together under a thin blanket, Erik’s hand tracing circles on Raiden’s chest.
“Really?” Veer groaned. “Two seconds. We can’t have two peaceful seconds?”
Raiden smirked. “We’re celebrating not dying.”
Erik kissed his cheek. “Among other things.”
Sayaka, already slipping out of her jacket, locked eyes with Luce across the aisle. Her lips curled up with that lethal smirk.
“You. Bedroom. Now.”
Luce blinked. “...I—okay.”
They vanished behind the sliding door.
“You guys are unbelievable,” Ishaan muttered. “This plane’s becoming a damn honeymoon suite.”
Inside the bedroom—
Sayaka pushed Luce against the wall, breathless.
“You’re always the hero,” she murmured, lips brushing his jaw. “But tonight, you’re mine.”
Their mouths crashed together, fingers clawing at zippers and belts. Heat bloomed. Clothes hit the floor. The room filled with gasps, whispered names, tangled sheets.
It wasn’t just sex.
It was release.
A way to prove they were alive. That they had each other.
Meanwhile—
Dev and Saira sat near the cockpit, bathed in low golden light.
“You okay?” Saira asked, voice soft.
Dev nodded. “You?”
Instead of answering, she leaned in, brushing her lips against his.
Slow. Gentle.
Their kiss deepened, hands curling into each other’s clothes. It was tender, quiet—like a long-held breath finally released.
“I’ve wanted this for so long,” he whispered.
“Then shut up and kiss me again,” she whispered back.
Further back—
Lev kicked open another bedroom door, dragging Avni inside.
“I missed you,” he said.
Avni grinned, pulling his face down to hers. “Show me.”
They fell onto the bed like wildfire. Passion spilled—urgent and hungry. She laughed as he kissed down her collarbone.
“You’re so impatient.”
He kissed her stomach. “Only with you.”
Heat. Sweat. Whispers.
Love, made in the sky.
Back in the lounge—
Ishaan stared at the ceiling in disbelief. “I feel like I’m in the world’s horniest horror movie.”
Veer sipped his Red Bull. “Bro, I swear if I hear one more moan—”
A muffled thud from behind Sayaka and Luce’s room.
“—I’m gonna throw myself out the emergency exit.”
“Why is no one single but us?” Ishaan asked.
“Because we’re emotionally unavailable nerds with trust issues,” Veer said. “Now shut up, they’re hitting the bedframe again.”
“I hate everyone here.”
One Hour Later – Cabin Briefing
Everyone was glowing when they returned to the main cabin. Sayaka’s lips were bruised. Luce’s shirt was inside out. Avni was fixing her bun. Lev looked like he ran a marathon.
Erik and Raiden? Just smiling like idiots.
Dev and Saira? Still holding hands.
Ishaan threw a blanket over his head. “I need therapy.”
Veer clapped sarcastically. “Congrats to all of you and your post-traumatic sex. Now can we talk about the end of the world?”
Luce stood at the center, finally composed.
“Alright. Time for reality.”
He projected a holo of a scorched Pyronox facility.
“This is where Viktor Reznov’s real body was found. He died two months ago.”
Everyone went quiet.
“Someone was using him as a puppet,” Luce said. “A clone, a body double, AI—we don’t know yet. But whoever it was… they’re dangerous.”
Lev leaned forward. “Where are we heading?”
“Umbra Island,” Luce said. “Forget Valgrave. It’s a curtain. The real COMA HQ is here.”
Eyes widened.
“You’re joking,” Dev said.
“I’m not,” Luce said. “Elda’s base of operations. The real archives. All of it. We’re going straight into the eye of the storm.”
“And the files you almost saved?” Avni asked.
Luce’s expression darkened. “Someone deleted them. Before I could get the truth. But I saw her.”
“Who?” Sayaka asked.
Luce met her gaze.
“Yuriko Hanabira.”
Gasps.
“If she’s involved,” Luce continued, “then Rokuro Kurogane isn’t dormant anymore. He’s moving.”
Silence.
Then:
“Okay but like,” Ishaan said, lifting a hand, “real question. How am I supposed to focus when I heard Erik moaning Raiden’s name through a wall?”
Erik turned red. Raiden smirked.
“You weren’t supposed to listen, perv.”
“You shook the ceiling!” Veer exclaimed. “I thought we were under attack!”
“And Luce?” Ishaan gestured. “Bro was howling. Sayaka, what are you feeding this man?”
Sayaka smirked. “Confidence.”
“And stamina,” Luce added.
“OH MY GOD,” Ishaan groaned. “Lev, please tell me you—”
“I’m not even gonna pretend we weren’t loud,” Lev grinned.
Avni winked. “We had fun.”
“Ravenfall is turning into Raunchfall,” Veer sighed.
Saira kissed Dev’s cheek. “Then maybe you two should go find your own romance.”
Ishaan pointed at Veer. “Don’t even think about it.”
“I was gonna say you, idiot.”
“Absolutely not.”
They laughed. Loud and unfiltered. For a moment, the war faded.
For a moment—they were just alive.
