Analysis
The episode showed that everything ended on a positive note when Naruto defeated Amachi and the sea monster. Isaribi is no longer in the darkness since she decided to go to Konoha in hopes of getting cured by Tsunade, and Anko finds closure as she remembers everything that happened with Orochimaru. The following analysis will reflect on that.
P.S. Please note that on the land of the sea, there were 4 islands, which included Taro Island and Mother Island. Demon Island and Jiro Island (Narutopedia Website)

The battle between Amachi and Naruto
The demon fox within Naruto helps him beat Amachi. Although Amachi is quickly defeated and captured, the Sea Boss attacks Naruto. The battle between Amachi and Naruto ended so quickly that it took place in the Land of the Sea. It didn’t take minutes for Naruto to defeat him. The battle began with triumphant music playing in the background, featuring a mix of Japanese chants, electric guitar, Japanese guitar, and Japanese flute.
As the music plays, Amachi tries to hit Naruto by striking him with water shaped like cannonballs that come from his mouth. However, Naruto deflected his attacks. Amachi continues to use the same technique on Naruto, but Naruto charges forward. He knocks him out with a higher speed, which seemingly looks like his technique, the Uzumaki barrage, but without the shadow clones. Amachi ended up underwater. Naruto defeated Amachi, and as soon as that happened, Naruto shifted back to his normal self, but he passed out and sank underwater.
Luckily, Isaribi once again saves him. After some time, Amachi returns to his normal form, where he realises that he has to retreat; however, Anko stops him by wrapping him around with a rope. Naruto won with the nine-tailed fox chakra, where he not only had massive strength but also intense speed. Therefore, it highlights that the nine-tailed fox is super strong, which explains why the Akatsuki want to capture Naruto one day.

Yoroi is also defeated.
Meanwhile, while Naruto defeated Amachi, Ino, Shino, and the ship crew were on the other side of the sea. Despite being drowned by the sea monster’s form, they are all right. Despite Yoroi’s tactics to absorb Shino’s chakra, Ino activated her Mind Destruction Jutsu to stop him. When Yoroi wanted to attack Ino, Shino stopped him with his insects, which caused him to drown underwater. Although Amachi and Yoroi were defeated, the sea monster came back to cause havoc once again.

The return of the sea monster
Meanwhile, Anko, Isaribi, and Naruto managed to capture Amachi as he was tied to a rope, and he got cocky that this wasn’t over because he knew the sea monster was still around. As a result, intense music plays with electric guitar, drums, and Japanese flute, and the sea monster reveals itself once again. Amachi also told them that they wouldn’t be able to kill it because the sea monster is immortal. He also said it draws its life from the vast waters of the ocean. However, he was in for a surprise when Naruto summoned Gamabunta so that both could defeat the monster.
Naruto summons Gamabunta and defeats the monster by evaporating its nucleus, then gets beaten up by Gama-sama (Gamabunta is a freshwater creature extremely uncomfortable in a saltwater environment). The saltwater caused Gamabunta to have a rash all over his body; hence, in the episode, he was jumping excessively on top of the sea. Despite all this, Gamabunta eventually found the strength to tackle it and focus on defeating the monster. To signify his need to defeat the monster, triumphant music plays in the background with a mix of electric guitar, drums, and Japanese chants.
Gamabunta first stabbed the monster with his sword, and instead of killing it, he ended up almost trapped inside of it, the same way Naruto was trapped inside of it in the previous episode. Luckily, Gamabunta managed to break free from its clutches. After realising that stabbing wouldn’t work, he started coming up with strategies to defeat it. He said to Naruto, who was on top of his head, that it had a bunch of spirits trapped at the core of a watery element. Gamabunta also said that cutting it wouldn’t help because it would just revive itself with all the seawater. Therefore, the trick was to get the spirit to its core, where they had to damage it by evaporating the nucleus. If they heat things around the sea, the monster will end up evaporating.
While Naruto and Gambunta come up with the strategy, the sea monster strikes them with huge cannonballs from its mouth. While the sea monster used its tactic, Gamabunta charged forward and spewed some oil from his E-pipe (a type of cigarette), while Naruto tossed his kunai wrapped in a paper bomb on the oil to form a huge flame that evaporated it. In this scene, Gamabunta is shown to be strategic and to come up with solutions to defeat the monster. If Naruto hadn’t summoned him, they would all have been in danger; hence, Gamabunta played a significant role in making sure the mission was a success.
After dealing with the sea monster, Anko, Ino, Shino, and Naruto managed to hold Amachi hostage at the harbour. He will be taken to the village hidden in the leaves and tried for all the crimes he committed on the land of the sea.

Isaribi is no longer in pursuit of darkness.
Isaribi realised what Naruto said was right and that he did understand her because Naruto was also treated as a monster. With his help, Isaribi could overcome her anger. Afterwards, Isaribi decided to go to Konoha in the hopes that Tsunade could cure her. When he realises that his plans are over, Amachi tries to convince Isaribi to get him out of this situation by saying that he’s the only one who can change her back to being human. However, Isaribi said to him, “I don’t care; if I keep this up, I will be nothing but a monster at heart.” Amachi also tried to provoke her by saying she would just wander on earth as a freak, but his words didn’t faze Isaribi at all. Naruto has helped her realise that she doesn’t have to become a monster at heart; hence, Naruto played a role in getting Isaribi out of the darkness before she ended up consumed with hatred like Sasuke.
After Amachi realised that Isaribi wouldn’t help him, he revealed that he never had any intention to change her back because his initial plan was to harvest her organs for experiments. This just proves that Amachi is a monster whose only concern is to conduct experiments at the expense of others. Therefore, if Isaribi had helped him, she would have been trapped as a slave, following instructions from Amachi, who had no intention of making her human again. She would have gone deep into darkness, so she dodged a bullet when she refused to follow his instructions. She is now free; hence, on her end, it ended on a positive note.

Anko finds closure in what happened between her and Orochimaru.
While Amachi was still held hostage at the harbour, Anko tried to get information from him about Orochimaru’s whereabouts. However, Amachi doesn’t know where he is. Yet he proceeded to provoke Anko by saying that the man tossed you aside, yet you still searched for him. He also bragged that if he still had his research on Demon Island, he would have eventually surpassed Orochimaru; hence, Anko ended up punching him in the face. While the genin prepares to leave the island, Anko decides to search for answers and lets them know that she will be back in time to depart from the land of the sea to the leaf village.
Despite what Amachi had said about her being tossed, Anko decided to sail to Jiro Island. This is where she began to have nightmares; hence, it was likely that the fragments of her memories were left there. When she reaches her destination, she walks through a forest and comes across an abandoned cabin. She enters the empty room and starts to have a flash of memories as her curse mark starts to resonate with the pain. Evil piano music plays in the background as we are shown Anko as a kid receiving the bite mark from Orochimaru, where she got the cursed seal. Afterwards, he leaves her in the dark room, experiencing pain as he laughs evilly. In the dark room, Anko was experiencing excruciating pain. After some time, she lay on the ground with a blank expression on her face. Eventually, Amachi and Orochimaru enter the room, where Amachi informs Orochimaru that she’s still alive. As a result, a dialogue takes place among them:
Orochimaru: She’s a lucky girl, so out of the 10 we tested, she was the only one to survive. One last delicious harvest before my departure
Amachi: departure?
Orochimaru: There’s no reason for me to be here anymore.
Amachi: But my lord? The research?
Orochimaru: It’s all yours. You can consider it a parting gift. As of this point, I have no further need for it.
Before Orochimaru could leave, Anko grabbed his foot and said to him:
Anko: But why, how could you do this? I don’t get it; I’ve looked up to you more than anyone in the world!
Orochimaru grabs her chin and looks her in the eye. You simply didn’t measure up, my dear. I’m afraid you lack the hunger for power, the drive, the hatred, everything, and anything. Although you didn’t die. To make it this far, you can’t be useless. Well, how about it? Care to accompany me then?
Afterwards, there was a moment of intense silence where Anko didn’t want to go with Orochimaru.
Orochimaru: Fair enough.
As he leaves with Amachi, Orochimaru says to him, “Somewhere out there is the diamond in the rough that I’m looking for.” Then he left her behind in the abandoned cabin.
This just proves that Orochimaru initially wanted Anko to be his vessel, even though she was his student. However, since she didn’t have the intense hatred within her, she wasn’t worthy to be his vessel. Moreover, when he says, “Somewhere out there is the diamond in the rough that I’m looking for,” it turns out to be Sasuke who is the vessel he is looking for. Orochimaru is presented as having only used Anko to pursue his evil agenda, which proves why he is the main antagonist in the anime series Naruto.
Moreover, since all her memories came back, it proves that she wasn’t cast aside, as Amachi claimed. It was her choice to stay behind so she could live in peace, knowing that she chose peace over darkness to follow Orochimaru. She would have been like Kabuto, following Orochimaru’s orders. After finding peace, Anko returns to the harbour just in time to live in the land of the sea with Naruto, Ino, Shino, and Isaribi. Isaribi goes to the leaf village, where Lady Tsunade, a top-notch medical specialist, will cure her. As a result, the episode ended on a positive note.
The lesson from this episode is that one should be careful about whom they trust; otherwise, they will end up betrayed, just like Anko was betrayed by Orochimaru.
