Writing has been a journey for me. It started as a lifeline in adolescence, then a goal I worked toward in young adulthood, a dream without form as I entered my career and raised my child (that is, I read as much as possible, but rarely wrote creatively or for my own purposes), and once again I'm back to wishing to write with purpose. Writing has been a journey for me. It started as a lifeline in adolescence, then a goal I worked toward in young adulthood, a dream without form as I entered my career and raised my child (that is, I read as much as possible, but rarely wrote creatively or for my own purposes), and once again I'm back to wishing to write with purpose. I read excellent authors and dream of writing my own stories. For now, the stories are formless - as simple as catching dollops of fog with a butterfly net.
I will persevere. It's just that it may take a while - like a decade or two! Meanwhile, I shall READ! and scribble.
