SCENE 1 — THE COURTROOM

The courtroom was blanketed in a heavy, suffocating silence.
Every eye in the room was locked onto the businessman standing in the dock, trembling with visible terror. Positioned directly opposite him was Naveen—dressed in a crisp, dark suit, carrying an aura of effortless calm and a strange, profound quietness in his eyes. People called him the ‘Angelic Prosecutor.’ Calm, unwavering, and untainted.
Naveen closed the case file and offered a composed glance toward the judge.
"Your Honor," Naveen began, his voice barely raised above a quiet murmur, yet cutting cleanly through the room, "the defense’s arguments rest entirely on witnesses bought and paid for."
Without a single wasted motion, he cast a series of documents onto the digital displays—untraceable bank transfers, encrypted call logs, and undeniable forensic reports. The defense attorney rose to object, but the words died in his throat. He had nothing left to fight with.
Naveen gently brushed his thumb against the silver ring on his pinky finger. A distant memory of his mother’s voice flickered in his mind—‘Justice should never be born out of vengeance, Naveen.’
He lowered his hand, his posture commanding yet entirely still. "The law is not a puppet for power or wealth."
The judge adjusted his glasses, fixing his gaze squarely on Naveen as an absolute hush fell over the room.
"Based on the conclusive evidence and documents presented," the judge’s authoritative voice echoed across the courtroom, "this court finds the accused guilty. Sentence: fifteen years of rigorous imprisonment... without the possibility of parole."
The man in the dock collapsed into himself. His family burst into frantic tears. Yet, on Naveen’s face, there was no thrill of victory, no triumphant smile. For him, this wasn't a personal win—it was simply a duty fulfilled.

SCENE 2 — THE TWO FACES

The moment Naveen stepped out of the courtroom, a barrage of camera flashes blinded the hallway. Microphones were instantly shoved toward his face.
Naveen paused. The sharp, unyielding edge in his eyes dissolved in a heartbeat, replaced by a remarkably soft, warm, and gentle smile.
"I was merely doing my job," Naveen replied with graceful humility. "This is a victory for the truth, not for me."
Reporters began whispering among themselves—"He really is as saintly as the papers make him out to be."
Right on cue, Sky pushed his way through the press, clutching a stack of files. Sky wasn't just Naveen’s junior associate; he was his closest confidant—the only person who saw straight through Naveen’s serene facade to the bone-deep exhaustion underneath.
"Give the man some room to breathe, folks!" Sky barked, expertly shielding Naveen from the crowd.
The two stepped into the private elevator. The second the heavy doors slid shut, the sweet, approachable smile vanished from Naveen’s face entirely, leaving behind an emotionless mask.
Sky caught Naveen’s reflection in the glass and let out a long, weary sigh. "And there’s the real Naveen. You wrapped up an entire trial in thirty minutes. People are starting to call you 'The Man Who Never Loses'."
Naveen adjusted his glasses, his tone flat. "Everyone loses, Sky. You just have to choose what you’re willing to sacrifice."
The elevator dinged at the basement level. As they stepped out toward the cars, Sky asked, "When was the last time you actually took a day off? Take a break, man."
"I'll think about it," Naveen said, unlocking his car.
Sky watched him drive away, muttering under his breath, "You’re really carrying the weight of this entire city on your shoulders all by yourself, aren't you?"

SCENE 3 — THE UNDERWORLD

Inside the sprawling penthouse of 'The Velvet Obsidian'—the city’s most exclusive underground club—an oppressive stillness lingered.
Vihaan sat behind his massive desk. Draped in a black silk shirt, a detailed dragon tattoo creeping up his chest, and a glass of aged rum held loosely in his grip. On the floor before him, a bruised and bloody man was on his knees, whimpering in terror.
"Boss... it wasn't my fault... please, forgive me..."
Vihaan set his glass on the wooden table with a soft click. "Kai."
Standing faithfully to his side, Kai answered instantly, "Yes, Boss."
"What do we do with a dog that sits in our house and barks for strangers?"
"We put it down," Kai replied without a shred of hesitation.
Vihaan stood up, his tall frame looming over the begging man before landing a brutal kick straight into his ribs. The man collapsed onto the floor. Vihaan crouched down beside him, his voice dangerously soft. "If you want to step into my territory, send someone worthy of a fight... Don't waste my time and gunpowder on useless pawns."
Kai signaled the guards, who dragged the screaming man out of the room.
Left alone in the quiet penthouse, Vihaan walked toward the floor-to-ceiling glass window, watching the city lights bleed into the foggy night. He pulled back his right sleeve slightly—revealing an old, jagged, and ugly scar carved deep into his wrist.
His eyes darkened as he drifted into the shadows of his past. That mark wasn't just carved into his skin; it was etched into his very soul.
Years ago, when Vihaan was just a twelve-year-old child, his own uncle, Vikram, was blinded by greed for the family fortune and the syndicate's power. Vikram orchestrated a horrific car accident that claimed the lives of Vihaan’s parents right before his eyes. Believing the young boy was dead too, Vikram sliced Vihaan’s wrist and left him to bleed out in a locked, abandoned warehouse.
Vihaan survived that night by a miracle, but the betrayal permanently turned his heart to stone.
Cast out and homeless, Vihaan survived on the brutal streets, burying his childhood amidst hunger, cold, and bloodshed. By the age of sixteen, he had carved out his own place in the illegal weapons trade and black-market operations. It was during those relentless years that he saved an orphaned boy named Kai from Tawan’s thugs. Kai saw the burning fire of vengeance in Vihaan’s eyes and pledged his absolute loyalty to him forever.
Vihaan didn't strike recklessly. He waited for years like a patient predator. He systematically bought off Vikram’s most trusted men, crippled his financial networks from the inside, and dismantled his empire brick by brick.
Then, one night... a twenty-four-year-old Vihaan walked into his uncle’s penthouse alone. He pulled up his sleeve, showing Vikram the ugly scar on his wrist. Seeing his dead nephew standing before him like a vengeful ghost, Vikram trembled in sheer terror. That very night, Vihaan reclaimed everything that was stolen from him and put an end to his uncle once and for all.
The innocent child died that night, and in his place, the undisputed king of the underworld was born—'Boss Vihaan.'
Vihaan took a slow breath and pulled his sleeve back down, covering the scar.
Kai re-entered the room. "Boss, tomorrow night’s shipment is ready. Tawan is still trying to block our routes... and there’s another piece of news. A new player has entered the underworld."
Vihaan turned around slowly. "A new player?"
"No name, no record," Kai reported. "Just a description—he wears a steel half-mask."
A cold, dangerous smirk curled at the corner of Vihaan’s lips.
"Well... at least someone’s here to cure my boredom."

Back in his private apartment, Naveen stood before the mirror. He unbuttoned his suit jacket, removed his tie, and took off his glasses.
An encrypted message flashed on his phone screen:
Target Location: The Velvet Obsidian — VIP Lounge.
Within seconds, the message wiped itself clean.
Naveen pressed a hidden panel behind the wardrobe, opening a concealed safe. Inside lay a fitted black leather jacket, tactical gloves, combat blades, and a sleek, polished steel half-mask.
He lifted the mask. The gentle warmth in his eyes was completely gone, replaced by the lethal sharpness of an apex hunter. The moment the steel mask covered his face, 'Prosecutor Naveen' ceased to exist.
He didn't take his usual car. Stepping out through a secret exit in the building, Naveen mounted an unmarked, pitch-black sports bike.
He parked a few blocks away from 'The Velvet Obsidian,' completely out of sight of the street cameras, and walked casually toward the VIP entrance. A silhouette clad in black leather, gloved hands, and a gleaming steel half-mask.
High above on the balcony, Vihaan stood looking down at the crowd below. For him, the noise and the nightlife were nothing more than a routine bore. But then, his eyes locked onto the masked figure stepping through the entrance.
Naveen halted his stride and slowly tilted his head upward.
Their eyes met directly through the gloom.
No fear. No hesitation. Just a silent, intense acknowledgment between two top-tier predators.
Naveen broke the gaze and walked effortlessly through the VIP doors. His sheer, terrifying presence and absolute composure forced the guards to step back instinctively, clearing a path for him.
Vihaan pulled the cigar from his lips, the boredom in his eyes completely vaporized. A dark, captivating smile spread across his face.
"Well now... let's see who just walked into my house."
The courtroom's 'Angel' and the underworld 'King'—were now under the exact same roof.
