Theme Park Entrance - Morning
The sun was shining. The birds were singing. And Alice was practically vibrating with excitement.
"OKAY, EVERYONE!" Alice announced, spreading her arms wide. "WELCOME TO THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!"
Chima crossed her arms. "Alice, we've been here for five minutes. Calm down."
"I CAN'T CALM DOWN! THERE'S ROLLERCOASTERS! AND CONVEYANCES! AND CATAPULTS! AND—"
"Conveyances?" Fatimah repeated. "What's a conveyance?"
"It's like a big spinning thing!"
"You mean a carousel?"
"NO! IT'S DIFFERENT! IT SPINS AND GOES UP AND DOWN AND—"
"So... a carousel?"
"IT'S NOT A CAROUSEL!"
Wony adjusted her sunglasses. "Whatever it is, I hope it's elegant."
"IT'S THE OPPOSITE OF ELEGANT!"
"Then I'm not going on it."
"YES YOU ARE!"
Naila was already looking for a bench. "I'll wait here. Too much effort."
Alice grabbed her arm. "NO! YOU'RE RIDING EVERYTHING WITH US!"
"Alice, I'm tired."
"We just got here!"
"I know. I'm tired from getting here."
Chima laughed. "Naila, you literally slept in the car."
"That was exhausting."

Rollercoaster Queue - 10 Minutes Later
They were standing in line for the biggest rollercoaster in the park. The screams from the riders echoed in the distance.
Wony was pale. "This... this doesn't look elegant."
"It's not supposed to be elegant!" Alice said. "It's supposed to be FUN!"
"Fun and elegant are not mutually exclusive!"
"YES THEY ARE!"
Chima looked at the track. "Okay, I'll admit. This looks intense."
Aslyn, who had joined them, was practically bouncing. "I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! ROLLERCOASTERS ARE MY FAVORITE!"
Perra was taking selfies. "The lighting here is amazing! I need to get a shot on the ride!"
Lilian was already doing dance moves in line. "I'm going to dance the whole time!"
"You can't dance on a rollercoaster," Fatimah pointed out.
"Watch me!"
Naila looked like she was about to pass out. "I changed my mind. I'll watch from the ground."

The rollercoaster climbed slowly. Higher and higher.
Naila gripped the safety bar. "I regret everything."
Chima was next to her. "Naila, relax. It's just a ride."
"It's a DEATH TRAP."
Wony was on the other side. "This is not elegant. This is the opposite of elegant."
Alice was screaming with joy. "WOOOOOHOOOOOO!"
The drop came.
And everyone screamed.
Well, almost everyone.
Naila was silent. Her eyes were wide open. She wasn't screaming. She was frozen.
Chima glanced over. "Naila? Are you okay?"
No response.
The ride ended. Everyone stumbled off.
Naila walked off the ride, her face completely blank. Then she collapsed onto a bench.
"I'm never moving again."
Wony was also pale. "That... that was..."
"Amazing?!" Alice cheered.
"TERRIFYING!"

Catapult Ride - 30 Minutes Later
Alice had somehow convinced everyone to try the catapult ride. It launched you straight up into the air. Then dropped you.
Wony was crying. "I don't want to do this."
"It's FUN!" Alice insisted.
"It's TORTURE!"
Chima patted her back. "Come on, Won. It'll be over in two seconds."
"TWO SECONDS OF TERROR!"
They strapped in. The countdown began.
3... 2... 1...
WHOOOOSH!
Up they went.
Naila screamed. Actually screamed. For the first time in her life.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"
Then they came back down.
And Naila was silent again.
Wony was also silent. Her face was pale and her eyes were glassy.
"Wony?" Fatimah asked. "Are you okay?"
Wony opened her mouth, but nothing came out.
Alice patted her shoulder. "She's fine! She's just processing!"
"I'm processing my DEATH," Wony finally whispered.

Spinning Rides - 1 Hour Later
They had somehow survived the catapult. Now they were on a spinning ride called "The Conveyance." It spun so fast that everyone was pressed against the walls.
Chima was laughing. "THIS IS CRAZY!"
Alice was cheering. "I LOVE THIS!"
Naila was pressed against the wall, her face flat. "I'm going to die."
Wony was also pressed against the wall, but she was trying to maintain dignity. "This is... not... elegant..."
The ride stopped. Everyone stumbled off.
Naila collapsed onto the ground. "I'm done. I'm done with everything."
Lilian spun around. "That was amazing! Can we go again?"
"NO!"

The Spherothon - 45 Minutes Later
The Spherothon was a ride that spun you in every direction possible. Up, down, sideways, diagonally. It was chaos.
Naila was holding onto the safety bar for dear life. "I hate you, Alice."
"I LOVE YOU TOO, NAILA!"
Wony was screaming. "I'M GOING TO BE SICK!"
"That's the spirit!" Alice cheered.
When it finally ended, Naila and Wony both staggered off and collapsed onto a bench.
Fatimah was the only one still standing upright. "Okay. I think that's enough."
"There's still the expanding ride!" Alice said.
"Expanding ride?"
"Yeah! It expands! And contracts! And—"
"NO MORE!"

Expander Ride - 30 Minutes Later
Alice had won. Of course she had won. They were now on a ride that expanded outward and contracted inward, like a giant spinning disk.
Naila was lying on the ground, holding onto the grass. "I'm never trusting Alice again."
Wony was sitting cross-legged, swaying slightly. "The world is spinning. I don't like it."
Chima was laughing hysterically. "THIS IS GREAT!"
Aslyn was doing flips on the ride. Because of course she was.
Perra was trying to take selfies. "I can't get a clear shot! Everything is blurry!"
"That's because we're MOVING!" Fatimah yelled.
Amy was eating snacks during the ride. "This is so fun!"
"AMY! DON'T EAT DURING A RIDE!"
"But I'm hungry!"
The ride finally ended.
Naila and Wony were the first ones off. They collapsed onto a nearby bench and didn't move.
"I'm done," Naila said. "I'm so done."
"I agree," Wony said weakly. "I need to lie down for a week."

Haunted House Entrance - 2 Hours Later
"I don't want to go in," Naila said flatly.
"Too bad!" Alice grabbed her arm. "We're going in!"
Wony was also resisting. "I've had enough terror for one day."
"But it's a HAUNTED HOUSE! It's fun!"
"It's TERRIFYING!"
Fatimah sighed. "Alice, maybe we should skip this one."
"No! We have to go in! It's the best one!"
They went in.
Inside the Haunted House, it was dark and creepy. There were sounds of chains rattling and people screaming.
Wony was holding onto Fatimah. "I don't like this."
Naila was walking slowly, her face completely blank. "I've seen worse. I talked to a headless ghost last week."
"That's not comforting!"
Chima was laughing nervously. "Okay, this is actually scary."
Alice was in the front. "THIS IS AMAZING!"
Suddenly, a zombie jumped out.
Wony screamed. Naila didn't react.
"Did you just... not react?" Chima asked Naila.
"I've seen scarier things. Like Amy's cooking."
"HEY!"
Then a clown jumped out.
Wony screamed again. Naila yawned.
"How are you not scared?!"
"I'm too tired to be scared."
They finally escaped the haunted house.
Wony collapsed onto the ground. "I'm never going in there again."
Naila collapsed beside her. "I'm never going ANYWHERE again."

Theme Park Bench - Evening
Naila and Wony were lying on a bench, completely unconscious. They had fainted from exhaustion.
Alice was still full of energy. "That was AMAZING! Let's go again!"
"NO!" Chima grabbed her arm. "You've done enough!"
"But I want to ride the rollercoaster again!"
"Alice, you're going to kill us all!"
Chima started chasing Alice around the park.
"I'LL CATCH YOU!"
"NO YOU WON'T!"
"YES I WILL!"
Meanwhile, Fatimah sat on a bench, eating ice cream, wearing headphones, and listening to music. She watched Chima chase Alice with a calm expression.
Lilian was beside her. "Should we help?"
Fatimah shook her head. "No. This is more entertaining."
Perra was taking photos. "This is going to be a great post. 'Theme park chaos.'"
Aslyn was eating Amy's snacks. "These aren't as bad as I thought."
Amy beamed. "I used a new recipe!"
"Did you use soap again?"
"No! I used... something else."
"Is that safe?"
"I don't know! But it's delicious!"
Naila and Wony were still unconscious on the bench.
Wony mumbled in her sleep. "No more rides..."
Naila mumbled back. "No more Alice..."
In the distance, Chima was still chasing Alice.
"I'M GOING TO GET YOU!"
"NEVER!"
"You're going to trip!"
"That's the risk I'm willing to take!"
Chima tripped.
Alice laughed. "HA! KARMA!"
"THAT'S NOT KARMA! THAT'S PHYSICS!"
Fatimah took a bite of her ice cream, watching the chaos unfold.
