Hi, I'm Tyanne.
If there's one thing you'll notice about me, it's that I don't like standing still.
People usually think I'm quiet when they first meet me—and honestly, they're right. But give me a little time, and suddenly I'm the one talking, laughing, and making everyone wonder, "Wasn't she the quiet one?"
Professionally, I've built my career in procurement. 31Please respect copyright.PENANAcdplYvnMDR
Most people think procurement is just about buying things, but to me, it's much more than that. Every day is about solving problems, communicating with different people, balancing cost, quality and delivery, and sometimes putting out fires before anyone else even notices them. Those experiences taught me something important: procurement isn't about placing purchase orders. It's about building trust, thinking ahead, and finding solutions when things don't go as planned.
But after a while, I found myself asking a bigger question:
"Is this where I want to stay?"
The truth is, nobody really knows what's on the other side unless they're willing to take the first step.
People always say the grass is greener on the other side. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But you'll never know if you stay where you are because it's comfortable.
I've learned that growth usually begins the moment you leave your comfort zone.
That's why I'm not afraid to start over.
I've stepped into unfamiliar industries, prepared for interviews that made me nervous, asked countless questions, and challenged myself in ways I never imagined. Every experience has made me a little more confident, a little more adaptable, and a lot more resilient.
Of course, work is only one chapter of my story.
Outside the office, you'll probably find me at the gym or out for a evening run.
Running has taught me one of the biggest lessons in life: progress is more important than perfection.
No one becomes a runner overnight. You simply show up, one run at a time. Some days are fast, some days are slow, but every step counts. That mindset has stayed with me in both my career and my personal life.31Please respect copyright.PENANA5hkdPTlqHJ
I also enjoy photography and creating content.
I love capturing little moments that most people would probably walk past. Whether it's taking photos, writing captions, or putting together a simple video, I enjoy telling stories. I believe life doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful. In fact, the imperfect moments often become our favorite memories.
Right now, I'm also preparing for another exciting milestone in my life—getting married.
Planning a wedding has probably been one of the biggest projects I've ever managed. From budgets and venues to guest lists, timelines, vendors, and all the tiny details in between, it's taught me that planning isn't just something I do at work, it has somehow become part of who I am.
At the end of the day, whether it's my career, my hobbies, or my personal life, there's one thing that always stays the same.
I'm not trying to build a perfect life. I'm trying to build a meaningful one.
Because I believe success isn't measured by how quickly you reach your destination.
It's measured by who you become along the journey.
So here's to learning, growing, laughing at ourselves, celebrating the small wins, and continuing to become a better version of ourselves—one step, one run, one challenge, and yes... one "gentle reminder" email at a time.
My story isn't about overnight success.
It's about steady progress.
