Senior Project can show that I am open-minded because I will have to consider new ideas and new topics to write about for my articles. Since I have never written for a magazine before, I will most likely mess up and have to redo my article. Most likely, the Courier will suggest new ideas for what I should write about and how I can improve my writing. I am willing to take these suggestions and follow through with my project. I don’t mind people suggesting new ideas for me. I’m willing to follow through with each one. I am very open-minded.
A Senior Project can demonstrate my independence. For my project, I’ll need to interview different people for the articles I’m writing. I’ll have to be very independent and rely on myself to get the work done. I can’t become lazy. I must be independent. My project is a bit different and difficult, but it is very plausible. It just requires a little more work and independence than other projects. The Courier is counting on me to write some amazing articles, and I know I can.
Social skills and independence are two of the main skills I hope to improve with this project. To succeed with it, I’ll have to meet with people I don’t know and people I’m unfamiliar with. I can’t hold onto my mother’s arm during my journey, though, and have her walk in with me. I have to do it myself. I have to be independent and prove that yes, I do deserve to be in 12th Grade.
Finally, Senior Project can show that I am very adventurous and like to explore different things. As a writer, this project is a blessing for me, but it’s also very different. Throughout my project, I’ll be interviewing unique people and learning about their hobbies and what they enjoy doing with their families, friends, and others. It’s a brand-new chapter in my story that I’ll follow through with because of my taste for adventure. There are lots of unique people in the world, and I hope to find those people during Senior Project. For example, I may find the next Michael Phelps or maybe even another aspiring author. Lots of those types of people are in the world, but there’s only one way to find them. Exploration! You have to explore! For my particular project, I am required to explore and show curiosity.
