The station was no longer a place of order.

It had become something else.

Chairs overturned.

Glass shattered.

Voices replaced by silence… or sudden violence.

Moments ago, it was controlled.

Now—

it was breaking.

Officer Raghav pushed through the corridor, grabbing one officer who stood frozen.

“Snap out of it!”

No response.

The officer’s eyes were open… but empty.

Like something inside him had stepped away.

From another room—

a scream.

Then silence.

Too fast.

Too final.

Raghav clenched his fists.

“This isn’t random…” he muttered.

“This is controlled.”

Behind him, Dr. Meera caught up, breathing hard.

“The sound—it’s activating something in them,” she said.

Raghav shook his head.

“But why isn’t it affecting him?”

He looked toward the interrogation room.

Inside—

Subject 07 still sat calmly.

Unaffected.

Untouched.

Like he existed outside the chaos.

Meera’s voice lowered.

“Because he’s already past it.”

Raghav turned sharply.

“What?”

“He doesn’t need the trigger anymore,” she said.

“But the rest of them… they’ve just been exposed to it for the first time.”

Another crash echoed through the building.

The lights flickered again.

Then steadied.

Raghav grabbed a flashlight.

“We need to find whoever did this.”

Meera nodded.

“Before they spread it further.”

🕳️ The Lower Floor

The hallway leading to the lower level was dark.

Too dark.

Emergency lights blinked weakly.

Each step echoed louder than it should.

Raghav tightened his grip on the flashlight.

“Stay close.”

Meera didn’t reply.

Her focus was ahead.

At the end of the corridor—

a door stood slightly open.

A faint sound came from inside.

Not loud.

Not clear.

But familiar.

Almost like an echo.

Raghav pushed the door open slowly.

Inside—

a control room.

Old equipment.

Multiple screens.

Wires running across the walls.

And in the center—

someone stood there.

Facing away.

“Stop!” Raghav shouted.

The figure didn’t move.

Didn’t react.

Slowly—

it turned around.

A man.

Calm.

Composed.

Almost… ordinary.

But his eyes—

they held something cold.

Calculated.

“You shouldn’t be here,” he said quietly.

Raghav raised his voice.

“Who are you?!”

The man tilted his head slightly.

Like the question amused him.

“I’m the one who made him.”

Silence.

Meera stepped forward slowly.

“Project Ding Dong…”

The man smiled faintly.

“Yes.”

🧠 The Truth

“You tried to create controlled identities,” Meera said.

“But something went wrong.”

The man shook his head.

“No.”

A pause.

“Something went right.”

Raghav’s grip tightened.

“People are dying!”

The man’s expression didn’t change.

“Yes.”

No regret.

No hesitation.

Just acceptance.

Meera stepped closer.

“You used him as a test subject.”

“Yes.”

“You split his mind.”

“Yes.”

“You turned him into a weapon.”

The man paused.

Then corrected her.

“No. I removed what makes humans hesitate.”

Silence.

Heavy.

Uncomfortable.

“Emotion,” Meera whispered.

The man nodded.

“Fear. Guilt. Doubt.”

A pause.

“All unnecessary interruptions.”

Raghav stepped forward angrily.

“You destroyed him!”

The man’s eyes shifted slightly.

For the first time—

there was interest.

“No,” he said calmly.

“I perfected him.”

⚠️ The Real Plan

Meera’s voice shook slightly.

“This wasn’t about one person, was it?”

The man smiled again.

“No.”

He gestured toward the screens.

Each one flickered with different locations.

Streets. Buildings. Public places.

All live feeds.

“Subject 07 was Phase 1.”

A pause.

“The station… was Phase 2.”

Raghav’s heart dropped.

“You triggered everyone…”

“Yes.”

Meera stepped back slowly.

“You’re spreading it.”

The man nodded.

“Of course.”

He picked up a small device.

Simple.

Black.

Silent.

“A sound is all it takes.”

Raghav raised his weapon.

“Put it down!”

The man didn’t react.

Instead—

he pressed the button.

The speakers in the room activated.

Soft.

Clear.

Unavoidable.

Ding… dong.

Raghav’s vision blurred for a second.

Just one second.

But in that second—

something shifted.

Inside his mind.

Voices stopped.

Thoughts paused.

Something… stepped forward.

Then—

it was gone.

Raghav staggered slightly.

“What… was that…?”

He looked at Meera.

She was still conscious.

But shaken.

The man watched them carefully.

Observing.

Studying.

“Interesting,” he said softly.

A pause.

Then his eyes moved slightly—

toward something behind them.

“You’re adapting faster than expected.”

Raghav turned suddenly—

but there was nothing there.

Just empty space.

When he turned back—

the man was gone.

🔥 The Real Horror Begins

Alarms started blaring across the building.

Emergency broadcasts activated.

Reports flooding in:

sudden violent incidents

people freezing mid-action

unexplained behavior changes

Meera’s voice was barely a whisper.

“This isn’t a case anymore…”

Raghav looked at the flickering screens.

At the spreading chaos.

At the growing pattern.

And for the first time—

he understood the truth.

“This is an outbreak.”

Far away—

in homes, streets, and quiet rooms—

people paused suddenly.

As if listening to something no one else could hear.

Then slowly—

they moved again.

Different.

And somewhere in the noise of the world—

hidden beneath everything—

a sound continued to spread.

Soft.

Endless.

Unstoppable.
