Changes are inevitable, but memories are as permanent as a marker. Today, I looked out the window and thought about change, how I was truly ready to embrace it. Leaving the little me and continuing on to my older me, the new me, the person I can be today. Down to personality, mood, thoughts, and action, something that some kids my age aren’t focusing on.

I just dunno, I remember when I was scared of change and I said I’m not going to change. But now, I'm ready or I think I’m ready. I may not be 100% ready but I can prepare for it. So far though, I'm not as mature as some others but mature enough to be impressed by it. Some people asked me, “How old am I?” I tell them and they are amazed. Next they ask, “Are you in school?” I respond with, “No” their facial expression changes to a curious state.

Next they ask, “Are you planning to go to school?” I responded with, “I’m already enrolled.” Satisfaction fills their face, I usually smile not understanding what it means sometimes.

My voice hasn’t deepened much, but my personality has changed. I started to speak up, something I was scared of doing. I started to see things a bit better, but understanding things hasn’t changed even when I ask for more insight. I wish I could understand things sometimes but it is what it isn’t. One thing I came upfront about, is that I may seem picture perfect to others. I'm just a teenager, with big ideas and plans for the future and want to continue my family legacy. Which is improving the name overall, I want it to be like a silver stone whenever you hear the last name you know it from something positive.

Even though that might be a fantasy for others to hear or read. I know it’s true. My grandfather done it. Why can’t I do the same? There’s no stopping it so I’mma do what I can and try to do what I can’t.

I noticed how my writing matured, it isn’t basic and simple. It still tends to be hard to understand but it’s better. The reason is that every time I post something I always receive a, “Let's colab, here’s my info.” even though it’s clear as day these are bots or someone who's trying to scam you.
