Aanya didn’t wait for morning.

Darkness swallowed the room.

A force pushed Aanya backward.

She hit the floor hard.

The bottle rolled away.

The kerosene spread across the ground—

But the chair remained untouched.

Untouchable.

Aanya gasped, trying to stand—

But something grabbed her wrist.

Cold.

Unnatural.

She looked up—

And saw herself.

The other Aanya.

Standing in front of her.

Smiling.

“You really thought fire could save you?”

Aanya struggled. “Let me go!”

The other Aanya tightened her grip.

“You don’t understand yet.”

The shadow grew behind her.

“You don’t destroy the chair…”

Her smile widened.

“You become it.”

Aanya’s heart stopped.

“No…”

The other Aanya leaned closer.

“You’re already halfway there.”

Suddenly—

Aanya’s body froze.

She couldn’t move.

Couldn’t speak.

Couldn’t breathe.

Her vision blurred.

And then—

She saw it.

Through different eyes.

Her own body—

Standing up.

Moving.

Walking toward the chair.

“No… STOP!”

But her body didn’t listen.

The other Aanya was controlling it now.

Step by step—

She sat.

On the chair.

Aanya screamed inside her own mind.

“PLEASE STOP—!”

Too late.

The moment her body touched the chair—

The world shattered.

Darkness exploded around her.

Voices screamed.

Hundreds of them.

Trapped.

Begging.

And above them all—

The shadow.

Watching.

Smiling.

“You wanted to end it…”

Its voice echoed everywhere.

“Now you will help it grow.”

Aanya’s soul trembled.

“No… I won’t…”

The shadow leaned closer.

“You don’t have a choice anymore.”

Silence fell.

Heavy.

Final.

And somewhere far away—

A phone buzzed.

A new message.

“I found something strange… an old chair.
