”Dinner’s ready!” Jacob say,
“Hell yeah!” Enzo says,
“Watch your mouth, kid” Jacob says,
everyone sits down at the table to eat.
“Ooo, Taco’s???” Peter says,
Jacob replies, “Yep.” He chuckles. “Now….you guys eat, and I’ll be at the front gate, checking if any entities come by.”
“Bye grandpa.” Enzo says,
Jacob doesn’t reply, he just…..walks away. When he makes it to the door, he stops for a second, sighs, and walks out the door. When he left, a heavy silence hit, all you could hear were grasshoppers.

Peter says concerningly, “Let’s just…. Say our food prayer.” Peter looks around. “Ok, everyone ready?”
Avery raises her hand and says, “I….i don’t believe in god.”
So Peter says, “Okay, do you still want to pray?”
Avery then says, “I don’t know, I think I don’t.”
And Peter says, “Ok, that’s fine, just remember, Jesus loves you.”
Avery looks at him, smiles, and gets to eating.
Peter then says the prayer, “God is gracious god is good, let us thank you for our food. Bow heads, must be fed, give us lord, our daily bread, amen.”
Everyone then began to eat, except for Avery who had already finished her taco.
“Goodness, you must be pretty hungry!” Mike says with a mouth full of food,
Avery chuckles, “Yep!”
