Several days later...A girl named Amy Symilton appears in the middle of the desert and notices that she's inside a giant dragon robot.
"What is this thing? A dragon?" she wondered.
The dragon roars aloud.
"I suddenly appeared here in the middle of nowhere. I remembered that I was at school. Where am I? There should be a town nearby. I should go there and ask," Amy said.
The girl goes to Bell Town near her and asks one of the townspeople.
"Excuse me...," Amy said to the man.
"Hmm? Oh, a zoid pilot...It's been a while since we have seen new faces in Bell Town," the man said.
"Zoid pilot?" Amy asked him, astonished.
"You don't know? That outfit means you're zoid pilot," the man said.
Amy examines her outfit and surprised. She wears hooded jacket with two yellow stripes on both sides of the zipper alongside a holster on the side of her belt, her wizard hat became thin and can be easily fold. Her steel boots became silver pointy jagged knee-padded greaves.
"Kid, why don't you take a zoid battle for a starter?" the man suggested.
"A zoid battle?" Amy wondered.
"That’s right, many zoid pilots participate there for prize moneys. That big building over there is the place to participate," the man said.
"I see. Thanks for the info, Mister," Amy said and thanked him.
"Maybe I should try the zoid battle," she thought to herself and entered the stadium.
“Hello. Can I help you?” A woman asked.
“It’s my first time as a Zoid pilot. I would like to participate in a zoid battle,” Amy said.
“You’re lucky, dear. A zoid battle will start soon in this stadium. Before you go, I will give you the rule of zoid battle. Rule number one, you can use any zoid you want as long as the zoid that you’re piloting is in data. Second, no illegal act during the zoid battle, disobeying this rule and you will have to confront the Judges. The zoid battle will be coordinated by a Judgeman. There is the third rule but only the Judgeman knew the last rule. Do you understand, dear?” The woman asked.
“Um...yes...I think,” Amy said with a doubting tone.
“Good girl. All set, dear. The battle will start in this coordinates. Find it from the radar. Good luck,” The woman gave her the coordinate.
“Thanks, ma’am,” Amy said.
The girl then runs to her zoid and search the coordinate. The Judge capsule landed between Amy and her opponents. The capsule opens up revealing Judgeman.
"The area within 30 miles radius is a dedicated zoid battlefield. This zone is now restricted. Only competitors or personnel authorized entry. Danger, all others must leave the area at once," Judgeman said.
"Oh wow...," Amy amazed inside her zoid cockpit.
She will be battling against two Dibison zoids.
"What is that zoid? I've never seen that zoid before...," Orman said inside his Dibison zoid.
"And our opponent is a kid. Hah, this should be easy," Rin said.
"Hoh...I will show you what me and my zoid can do, Madam," Amy said confidently.
"Area scans. Battlefield set up. The Dragon Team VS the Charge Team. Ready....Fight!" Judgeman said, his dual-colored hands formed into cross.
The dragon roars.
"Let's go, Dragon!" Amy pushed the lever.
Magna dashes forward, its speed causes the girl pushed to the back of her seat. In a short time, it stops in front of the Dibison.
"It's fast!" Rin shocked and turned to Magna Dragon behind her.
Magna swings its sword toward Rin's zoid, cutting her zoid.
"Argh!" Rin screamed.
"Rin!! (Damn, I have to stay cautious of this girl’s zoid)," Orman said.
"Take this!" Orman's Dibison fires multiple shots on her.
"Look out!" Amy shouted.
Magna evades the bullets easily by flying upward.
"She dodges my---Ahhh!!" Orman screamed as Magna suddenly appears in front of him and cut his zoid horizontally.
As soon as the two Dibison destroyed, the alarm rings.
"Battle is over, battle is over, the winner is the...Dragon Team!" Judgeman said.
Amy opens the cockpit and wipes her sweat.
"That was hard. Who knew that piloting a zoid for a youngster would be so tiring? I heard that some kids with natural talent like this could pilot a zoid like this, but this is insane!" Amy exclaimed.
"She cut our zoid in two with a single slash," Rin said, filled with fear.
"Amazing!" Orman said in awe.
Outside the town, Amy tries to speak to her wild zoid.
"That was amazing, dragon. What's your name, dragon?" she asked the zoid.
The zoid growls. Somehow, Amy could understand what he is saying.
"Magna? Cool name. From now on, you're my best zoid and I'm your friend, Magna Dragon," Amy said.
Magna replies with a roar and rubs his head on Amy, and she hugs Magna's head.
