Piecus (acting chill): "Ha... just thought I'd take a little stroll around."
Flame: "You're barely four feet tall. What would you do if the Goblins caught you and ate you?"
As he spoke, Flame began scanning the surrounding area with his piercing eyes. Piecus noticed this immediately.
Piecus: "What brings you here, Flame?"
Flame: "Oh... I just happened to be passing by."
Nearby, Darshan, Chandu, Viyog, and Sarunya were hiding behind a thick, dense bush, holding their breath.
Piecus: "And how is Lord Demansion?"
Flame: "He is doing well."
Piecus: "I've been watching you for a while now... what exactly are you looking for?"
Flame: "Nothing...! Did anyone come this way?"
Piecus: "Ho, Flame... no one has come here."
Hearing this, Flame said, "Good," and prepared to leave. But then, he paused. He scanned the area once more. The four hidden companions were paralyzed with fear, terrified that the dragon would discover them.
Flame: "Piecus."
Piecus (turning back): "Yes?"
Flame: "Where are they?"
Piecus: "Who?"
Flame: "The ones who came with you."
Piecus: "Trust me, Flame! No one came here!"
Flame: "Do not lie to me! Hand them over to me immediately!"
Chandu and Darshan began to sweat from pure terror. Sarunya hissed, "Shit!" Viyog remained still, staying close to them, waiting for the right moment.
Piecus: "Flame...."
Sparks began to fly from Flame’s burning eyes, his anger heating the air around them.
Flame: "It would take me only a second to turn you into ash. So, call out those who came with you! If not... what happens next will be very different!"
