To the Unknown Blue light
As the black figures began to close in, a sound like hollow glass shattering echoed through the void. A brilliant blue light washed over Darshan. When he opened his eyes, he saw a six-foot-tall figure standing before him, acting as a shield.
The shadows recoiled in fear. From beneath his deep blue cloak, the mysterious man pulled out a long staff and swung it toward the darkness.
"Who is this!?" Darshan wondered, his mind spinning in amazement.
As the number of black figures grew, the tall man launched into a fierce attack. Darshan noticed something strange: whenever the shadows were struck and hit the ground, they didn't just fall—they glitched like a broken screen and vanished into thin air. Seeing this, Darshan whispered, "This... this is incredibly strange."
He turned back to check on his friend. Chandu was gone. Panic surged through him. "Ah! Chandu!?" he cried out, searching the area frantically. "Chandu!!"
The tall man, still fighting off the relentless shadows, muttered to himself: "These boys are completely trapped within the Demansion’s illusion. I have to find a way to get them out of here, no matter what."
Darshan searched for Chandu, his heart pounding with dread. Suddenly, his eyes locked onto the pulsing radiance. "What is that blue light?" he wondered. "Is it the way back to the real world?"
The man fighting the shadows shouted over the chaos, "Hey! Listen to me! Run toward that blue light as fast as you can. Escape! The longer you stay here, the more danger you're in!"
"But... but my friend was right here! I can't find him!" Darshan cried out.
The man, overwhelmed by the swarming shadows, yelled back, "Quickly! Go now! Save your life!" Darshan hesitated, his voice trembling. "But Chandu..."
"GO!" the man roared.
With tears stinging his eyes, Darshan whispered to himself, "I'm sorry, Chandu..." He turned and sprinted toward the blue light. Behind him, the mysterious man struck his staff against the ground with immense force—CRAAASH! The sound of hollow glass shattering tore through the air again. Darshan didn't look back; he dove into the heart of the light and vanished.
When Darshan opened his eyes, he found himself lying on a soft haystack. He looked around, bewildered. The sky was filled with clouds that looked like swirling orange smoke. The mountains were draped in a thick, blue mist, and the trees were unnaturally massive.
"Where am I now?" Darshan gasped.
From beside him, a voice spoke. "Hey, can you hear me?"
Darshan spun around. "Yes!"
"Get up, quickly," the man said, looking alert. "We aren't safe here either."
"But my friend...?" Darshan started, his voice breaking.
The man pulled back his cloak, revealing the figure slung over his shoulder. It was Chandu, unconscious but safe. "I saved your friend before I even came for you," he said bluntly.
Darshan stared in total shock. "Before you saved me?! How is that even possible?"
The man looked irritated. "There’s no time to explain that now. Just move!"
Darshan and the man entered a dense, dark forest. In this world, a strange, low-frequency sound—"GUMM!!"—echoed repeatedly through the air, rattling their very nerves. They pushed deeper into the woods until they reached a colossal, ancient tree with a hidden entrance carved into the trunk.
As they stepped inside, the man called out, "Sarunya! Check on this boy’s condition."
A beautiful 19-year-old girl named Sarunya appeared. "Welcome back, Mr. Viyog," she said calmly.
Darshan stood frozen in awe. The interior of the tree was vast, with a wide, solid floor—a hidden sanctuary. As Viyog laid Chandu down, Sarunya immediately began to examine him.
