Word spread about Samson’s accident on campus the next day. Girls were wailing, the boys (especially the sports boys) were shedding silent (some loud) tears, and the teachers all wore worried looks on their faces. Students who witnessed the scene were still trying to recover from the shock, remembering how he was at school, looking all fit and healthy, then BAM! An emaciated, death-nearing Samson is being sent to the hospital. The authorities of the school, Silver Star High, tried looking for the driver or even the car that hit Samson but to no avail. It was a hit-and-run accident with the driver nowhere to be found, so they decided to consult the police. After they had consulted the police, they held their own meeting in the school’s conference hall. When all the dignitaries attending the meeting were seated, the Headmaster arose and cleared his voice.
Headmaster: Good afternoon, all who’ve gathered here before me. Assistant Headmaster (Academic), Assistant Headmaster (Domestic), Assistant Headmaster (Administration), HODs, Unit Heads, Teachers, Ladies and Gentlemen, I say ‘Good Day’ to all of you. (Muffled and half-hearted responses are heard) Hm. Unfortunately, the past two days have not been good for us. Fortunately, it can all change with this council meeting so grant me your ears, rapt attention and priceless opinions. (Applause) Now, you all know what transpired here yesterday morning. (Silence) A very valuable student, Samson D’Almiere, got into an accident last morning, on OUR campus. (An uncomfortable hush falls on the gathering and some dignitaries shuffle in their seats) Luckily, he's not dead and is conscious, as we speak. (Rapt applause erupts and the Headmaster holds up his hand for silence) BUT, the repercussions this accident is trying to bring to our school are quite heavy… even long-lasting. (Another awkward hush falls on them again, the air filled with worry and fear) However…
Dignitary: Excuse me, Honourable Headmaster, but…
Headmaster: But? Why would you interrupt me as I speak…
Dignitary: Pardon me, sir, but I believe I came here for a briefing but what you’re doing is not briefing, its fear-imbibing. You’re making us worry instead of providing us the knowledge with which to make decisions and that, that is a blatant perversion of your duty in this meeting, sire.
Headmaster: And who are you to tell me what to do in this meeting?!

The dignitary took his glasses, cap and coat (which were all black in colour) off, stood and stared directly at the Headmaster. Relief flooded the Headmaster’s face and the faces of all who were in the room when they realized who it was.
Headmaster: Don Alonso? Don Alonso! Bienvenida! (Welcome!) It’s been years!
Don Alonso: I’ve been…many places.
Headmaster: But Don, there have been bigger cases concerning this school the past years, but you’ve never showed up to help. Why now?
Don Alonso: I had and still have my reasons.
Headmaster: Of course you do. Anyway, it’s a big relief to have you here. Now, for those who don’t know this man, his name is Don Alonso. He is a cartel head and past student of this school. He is also our Security Supervisor, he had been single-handedly solving our cases, both small and big, over the years. He disappeared five years ago but is back to help us! Let’s welcome Don Alonso!
(A hearty response follows and Don Alonso walks to where the headmaster is. He then stamps his foot on the floor once and everywhere becomes silent. The Headmaster smiles, remembering Don’s glory days, where one angry look from his eyes could shut up a whole congregation)
Don: Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s a pleasure to be back here again. As we all know, Samson, a student here, was hit by a car which, at the moment, we cannot find. The car was, however, identified by witnesses as a Nissan Pathfinder, an old luxury car from the 90s. And we all know how heavy those huge, old luxury cars could be. Luckily, I have a trace… just a faint whiff of who possesses the car. (murmurs) Guess where it originates from? THIS school. (Dignitaries start murmuring loudly and indistinctively, one man even fainting from shock. Don holds up his hand for silence.) So, from now till further notice, I will be residing in this school to investigate. To investigate, who specifically this insider is, so, rest assured, and be at peace. Good day. (Applause erupts and Don leaves the stage)
Headmaster: That’s great news. You may all leave, the meeting has ended. (The dignitaries shuffle out, looking more disturbed than at peace.)
