Bridges Once Walked

We have all walked a bridge at least once.

Alone, or with people we thought we trusted.

For Maddison, bridges are more than concrete and steel.

More than a design of mankind for structure .

More than rods spanning over unsettled waters .

They are memories he cannot place, terror he cannot explain, and a fall he barely remembers surviving.

When a string of murders begins appearing along London’s bridges, the fog in his mind starts to thin. Each body makes the past sharper. Each step forward feels like walking back into something he was never meant to survive or remember.

He hates bridges.

He avoids them.

But the bridges everyone fears most have the most space for the lost.

And he finds himself fitting in that category more and more everyday day .

Whilst London ......is about to remember what it tried to forget.
