Dear E,

You tell me things I could never understand, nor believe.

You tell me I'm beautiful.

You tell me I’m perfect.

You tell me that you love me.

You tell me so much more.

Yet I can’t ever comprehend how you see those.

I’ve been broken past repair multiple times.

I’ve pushed those like you away.

I’ve ruined every relationship that has a chance.

It’s only a matter of time before you see everything, before you realize how much more you deserve.

So I’ll sit and drown, I’ll love, and I’ll be ready to lose you.

All because you are too good for me, always will be, always have been.

You’ll never read this because if you did, I worry it would break you. God, I never want to hurt you.

But it’s only a matter of time.
