Kai just ran off with Isha, and Ty with Theo, and now Sam is crying, and I’m the only one comforting her since Ray and Iris have like zero empathy.
“Sam, don’t worry, he’ll be fine, I know it. After all, he’s with Ty, and even though he looks stupid, he’s not.” And I love him for it.
“A-are you sure?” Sam asks quietly, “B-but what if-” I cut her off.
“Sam, I promise he’ll be fine.” She looks at me and slowly stops crying.
“Hey, why don’t you go and wash off. After we can go and visit Theo,” I say, minding my words.
“Ok,” she says meekly and starts to head to the showers. I get up and turn around, marching right over the love birds that have absolutely NO empathy.

“Well, we-” Ray abruptly stops.

And before I get the chance to continue scolding them, that lady from before starts yelling again.
“LET GO OF ME! I HAVE CONNECTIONS!”

“I’M THE KING’S OLDER COUSIN! NOW TAKE ME TO MY DAUGHTER, ISHA!” The moment she says that, my heart shakes. If she’s related to the king and Isha, then Isha is royalty.
