This is entry 9 of Rogers Camel. it has been 6 days since john died and 12 days since we left our tribe. i tell jack and kathy we need to stop for a water break we need to keep liquids in us its 110 degrees out right now. so we stop for a water break and eat a little food. I go see how jack is doing he has hardly spoke since john died, and i give kathy a worried look. as i go ahead a little it's just rubble and ruins of the old till i see something in the distance. iIt looks like light from another fire it could just be something that started on its own or it could be more people. i sneak closer to see what it is if it is people i don't want them to see me43Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡUMCz7o6z3M
.as i get closer i see that it is other people. But they are dressed differently, they look to be in hides fur hides. I don't recognize the hides they are wearing but then again, i know very little. i decide to go back to our camp and by time i get there they are already eating and kathy gets me some food.
after jack goes to bed i tell kathy what i found we discuss if we should meet em see if they are friendly i say we should. Kathy says we should get a good night sleep and sleep on it and decide in the morning.
who knows what they are capable of.
I try to sleep but every time i close my eyes i see John's face so i decide to stay up and watch over em, remembering that i promised john i would take care of my son.
