Jaxon was the first to awake .
Blinking open his eyes, he searches for any remaining semblance of understanding...as to how they got stuck in a broken down , unknown research facility, as seen by the strewn around papers written with words and recorded of what ? ... He'll never want to know .
Getting up, Jaxon heads to Lena's unconscious body , shaking her , trying to awaken the girl .
If he was gonna be stuck in a dingy, scary-ass facility, atleast he'd ensure he wasn't alone in his fears .
Lena wasn't waking up and Jaxon's fears were getting the better of him . He had a strong guy feeling if they stayed situated near the entrance, something bad was gonna happen. And it was the type of bad that screamed death .
With no choice left , he woefully departed with his manners and slapped the hell out of a sleeping Lena. After the third slap , his hand was suddenly seized as he was about to go for his fourth .
A swift punch met his upturned nose , sending him falling of Lena's thighs , were he formerly sat.
" You fucker ! What happened to having decorum ! " Lena shouted as she gently held her red swelled cheecks , fury marring her face .
At her loud outburst, the others awoke .
" Where are we ? " Mai Lo questioned, squinting her sensitive eyes at the broken flickering lights of the facility.
" Where at an abandoned research facility, where an outbreak of whatever the scientists studied killed them and is now running amock in here . " Elijah , now awakened and on full analysis mode said calmly, standing tall and still looking around .
Everyone looked towards him , shock painting their faces at how fast he'd already adapted to thier situation.
Clutching his bleeding nose , Jaxon asked " how'd you figure that out ? "
" I know because of the papers and statistics recording a creature or many of sorts , the blood splattered on the walls and the dents in the metal walls that seem to violent and uncoordinated to be human made, not to mention the skeleton not so far from us with a name tag ." Elijah professionally said " plus I researched where we were going unlike some fools ." He generously added .
" Yeah . Which is Mars , not whatever dump this is ! " Jaxon responded , getting up slowly on one hand seeing as the other was preoccupied.
" True . This facility did pop up whilst I was researching, however very few information and most of it was miscellaneous. " Elijah explained , helping Mai Lo up .
Midway through Lena standing up . A sudden jolt shook the facility and a inhuman screech with smaller growls was heard not too far from thier current location . Thunderous booms echoing as the sound got closer , followed by the small pittar patter of feet hitting the ground .
They all stood in silenced panic , backs against eachother forming a circle . Looking to Elijah, the unofficial ' Leader ' for the next command and help .
" RUN ! " Was all he instructed.
