Sloane
Sun light reaches through my body as the wind kiss my skin. Fall through the sky isn't always bad if you have someone to catch you. Up here the sky showcases, it's wonderful colors in the clouds. So warm.
"If only she could see this right now". I closed my eyes taking in this kind of peace. Suddenly, darkness fills the sky. A gold light emits from my body as the area around me turns into complete darkness. I hit what seems to be the ground but then there was nothing. A voice echo in different directions. Some voices held laugher. Anger. Sweet nothings. Sadness. Everything, all at once.
Visions of people that I know were scattered everywhere. Through all the noise, there was one voice that caught my attention. It was mine.
"I don't regret anything. It's our wedding day after all". Giggling. Am I giggling?
I blink for a second but when I opened my eyes. My head was resting against someone's chest. What's going on? The hand around my waist tightens keeping me close.
"I should be the one admiring here" the voice states. I raise my head to their chest to see Kylian there. He smiles softly caressing my cheek. I glanced around at the crowd around us watching. Masks covered their faces fully. I need to leave.
This feels unreal.
I step back about to leave when Kylian grab my hand "Don't leave me for him" he said, there was sudden change in his voice. He spins me back around only to be Maverick.
His body is close to mine leading me into a dance. The mask figures emerge from the crowd on the floor make it difficult to leave. "You don't want him. We both know you want us together. It's coming for you". The raven male spun me around again. Purple lights cascade through the space from below showing bodies on the floor. Each one familiar to me.
A jaguar covered in gold steps out of the dark.
"Sloane, you must stop here. Don't go. Run before it's- "the jaguar didn't have time to delay their message. A purple substance wrap around the Jaguar completely then sinks it into the floor. As the substance disappears, it reveals a cloak figure. Their face was not visible.
It starts walking towards me. Each time it passes a body, it floats showing the glowing purple color pulsing through them with their eyes rolled back.
"Look what you did. How could you kill your own family" it asks.
In horror, I looked around finally noticing the bodies were my family, friends, and people that I swore to protect.
"Why?" many ask. All were yelling at me getting closer. Going back and forth. They stop "How could you?" they ask raising their arm and points at something on me. "She is the end. Nothing but trouble. A screw up!" she yells.
I glance down noticing blood all over my body. The 'porta animarum' rest my feet cover in it with cracks.
I gasp for air noticing the night sky was settling in. There was barely any light. Where am I? I grab the side of my head trying to relieve this headache. "I'm in a field" I realize as I stood up noticing a herd of horses running through the field at the bottom of the hill. How did I get here?
"I should hurry."
The journey took a mile back at least. By the time I made, it was dark. Kylian runs towards me in his usual worried state. "Where have you've been? I was looking for you" he states making sure I wasn't hurt and place his hand down gently. I walk away noticing Maverick talking to Vera and the Crow.
"I'm fine. I needed some time alone to clear my head that's all. I don't need to be guarded twenty-four- seven" I address turning around when I heard a tree fall.
One of the villagers' yells "Henry!" as a figure covered in blood was attach to a large blade. A giant appears from the forests slamming his blade down. It was covered in bark and flesh. Branches stook out on his back. Black covers his eyes completely. Moss sheeted material rested to the bottom of his feet up to his shoulder at an angle. I charge forward to the group tackling them out of the way.
"Someone saves my husband! My husband. Please" she cries out point to him trap under a trunk behind the giant.
"I'll get him. You stay here" I command. Energy shoots through my body. Veins of lights cover my skin. I took out both of my daggers, a ray of light beams out forming as falchion shape blade.
My body reacts with a dodge quickly as the evil creature swung. I ran up the blade quickly before jumping off it with both of my blades raise. Getting ready to strike. They sliced through his arm clean to the core and he was not happy.
Another one appears. More trouble.
