Wake up right now!
His words jolt through my body as a starting point for me to regain consciousness. I'm back in another cold place.
"You're up sleeping beauty" a woman's voice stated, it was unfamiliar, but I knew it very clearly. When I tried to stand, she pushes my body back down "What the hell are you doing?" I asked with my voice raised. She doesn't reply to my question and continued to patch up my leg that got injured in the fall. A tiny breeze kissed my lower torso: She ripped my shirt. I looked down at my shirt then her. I began to study her quietly. Before I never noticed the small things: How her skin is very glittery. How could this woman possibly defeat me.
"You thought I would rip my clothes for you? It's your wound... Before you try anything, we can't use our powers, and I obviously have an advantage with you messed up leg" she stated standing up. My opponent dusted off her clothes picking up her dagger only to put it away.
Why won't she fight me?
It's hard to stand up, but I can do it. I am not weak. My lips purse together trying to make the pain not too evident to her. Quietness seemed to be dominated in this place before I disturbed it by stating "this is the perfect timing to strike me. Have they taught you nothing in princess school". My remarked caused her to scoff softly from where she was and continued to walk away from me.
"I don't want to kill anyone but if I must then I will. If I were to end you, I want it in a place where I can make it publicly known. You were talking when you were unconscious so from my approximation, the Oasis got rid of you. How does it feel not be someone's favorite puppet anymore" she teased stepping over a crack.
We must be stuck in some underground cave. Purple and neon blue lights projected on the walls. As I followed her, we happened to stop by a glowing body of water.
I scoffed shaking my head in disbelief trying to keep my balanced "The Oasis may have gotten rid of me but that doesn't mean I won't end you when I get a chance" I replied almost stumbling when she turned around unexpectedly.
A dominance smile appeared on her face as she started to approach me. She stood right in front of me and poked my chest. Her sable eyes stared up at me.
"Then why haven't you've attack me yet? Right now, we have two dilemmas; Oasis is a common enemy, and we are stuck in this powerless place. Whatever issue you have with me, we will settle it soon enough. If you are going to keep whining, then stay in the back away from me" she stated poking my chest with each segment.
Ouch!
I rubbed my chest watching her walk away.
An hour caught up with us. I was leaning on the cold wall watching her try to climb it by using her daggers. When she slides down and hits the ground, I started to laugh.
She smiled throwing her other dagger at me, but I moved out of the way. "Someone's happy" the words I chose held a hint of sarcasm to them.
Finally, she was up and in my direction. Her hand grasped the blade next my head, our eyes met this time for a longer period. Sloane walks over the body of water, further away from me. The dynamics of the cave changed into a forest ecosystem when we traveled further into the cave. In the middle of the cave at the very top was a large hole. Under the light, a tree by itself stood.
I sat down finally resting my leg and glances forward keeping my distanced from her while she did the same.
"You're right..." I said playing with rock I found while trying to find the words.
"We both have a common enemy and don't like each other. The only way we'll defeat her is doing it... together...". For some reason, it this was hard to do.
To ask for help from others.
I can't defeat Oasis by myself. Once it is done, I'll finish her and everyone she loves for the murder of my people.
"Fine. I don't trust you nor like you. If you screw us over, I will end you, myself properly" she didn't even look at me when saying it.
Why did I want her to turn around?
To look at me...
