Upon landing , Yuni wandered around the bottom after the compass disabled ' There are some fragments here ' Yuni thought of what to do as she sensed that there was no other way out ' I just followed Mir's suggestion on a whim , so I'm not really sure what to do here '
However , she thought the situation was similar to another world system she entered ' Right Neslihan's game , except instead of ancient civilization legacies , this one is more like a person's legacy . So these tests are different '
Yuni first assessed the size of the bottom hole she had found herself in and discovered that it was large enough to accommodate several floors of normal living quarters .
There were also scattered fragments around and after witnessing the functions that repaired the platform before and the blades , Yuni wondered if that meant there was something that could cause that to happen .
' Normally I would ask for a hint , but Ceil always says that the best way to immerse yourself in a world system is through exploration ' Yuni continued exploring the hole she was trapped in , not entirely worried cause her inventory had food and she highly doubted this was gonna have the same results as the mad forest situation .
Eventually , she found a corpse and really wished that she had some assistance "I wish your compass worked" " If I did that , the effort you make in acquiring it won't be entirely yours and I have to make sure that you do it on your own because any interference with your trials will diminish the step point generation "
Mir said while Yuni took the items out and checked their properties through Damo's crafted items ' I should reward him for making all these useful items ' she found out that the item she took was a sort of core and checked the rest of the loot to find a journal .
' Time to read ' Yuni read it and concluded her findings ' So this demon here was supposed to build something to pass the test and their blunder was the fragmentation of the soul ? '
Yuni couldn't tell because she had a lot of experience packed into her and found that she was indeed losing some of it , but she has a protective layer , it being the rusted crown's rusty layer ' It buys me time until it decided to deteriorate my soul '
She quickly checked the instructions and gathered up all the broken fragments of the construct it around the core she found on the corpse "This is easy" " You'll see more soon " Mir said as the construct started to change .
The fragments glow with inscriptions on them as they broke out of the score and spun around , making a storm of blades as Yuni backed away quickly . The fragments started to piece themselves together , forming a metal bird ' You know some boss music would be appreciated '

[ Fixed and broken creation : Fractus ]
' Should make an update on that ' Fractus pounced upward as it unfolded it's wings and dove down . Upon reaching close to the ground , it spun around as Yuni sensed fragments firing out of its body .
She avoided the body and deflected the firing fragments as its pieces shook and returned to Fractus , who unfolded their wings again ' What is it doing ' Fractus swung their wings as shards flew out .
Yuni parried the first shard slash , but upon breaking them apart , the pieces shook while another came and she destroyed it . The pieces froze in the air and thrusted towards Yuni ' Sht ' she dashed forward and the pieces of the second slash aimed for her .
Yuni sensed Fractus above her and jumped back as the tiny pieces pierced through her body . She quickly healed while Fractus prepared for the next attack as its fragments flew up , leaving the core in front of Yuni .
But the fragments then turned around as they started to shake and one by one , Yuni felt danger from different fragment . Yuni attacked the core while dodging the fragments and as more fragments fall , they started to return to the core after a short while .
' Maybe that's why it's called the broken legacy ' Yuni backed away after the fragments covered enough of the core and dodged the other fragments that fell , but also reached to the fallen fragments and grabbed them before they decide to return to the core ' If I get rid of their body mass , I can weaken it ' she stored the fragments away and Fractus reacted .
It transformed it into a spike ball as it located Yuni and dashed to her . She avoided it as it was embedded in the wall , breaking pieces of it , which Yuni observed to be the same material the fragments were made of .
These broken fragments then formed the body as Fractus slammed itself into the wall after every failed attempt and Yuni stored away the fragments from Fractus's old body .
' It's almost time for phase 2 ' The last fragment Fractus released embedded itself onto the ground and Yuni retrieves it while the spikeball has a greater mass after destroying parts of the wall for it .
Yuni waited for the core to expose itself and finally Fractus transformed into a circular plate with its blades being magically made just like the one she canceled before coming here ' The core is at the center '
Fractus turned to face Yuni with its blade facing horizontally and spread the fragments as they also formed saws , while the saw with its core stayed in between . Fractus charged towards Yuni and she jumped , thrusting a dagger into the protective saw , trying to pierce through the center so she could stab the core .
But she couldn't go much deeper and let it go and senses her dagger being destroyed by the fragments . Fractus made another attack as it turned its saw and moved to Yuni at a slow but fast enough pace .
Yuni tried another weapon , much broader , but that unfortunately didn't work . Yet Fractus continued the same move , bringing its saws towards Yuni while she dodges them and tries to pierce through the protective saws .
' None of these are working ' Yuni thought after wasting a few more weapons trying to pierce through ' It's probably planning to buy some time and I guess it doesn't want to break any more of its walls itself '

' And there goes my shield ' Yuni thought that she was gonna have to do something about it and took out Damo's drill ' Better give it a try ' she activated Damo's drill and planted it in a broken spot Fractus made as it started to drill in .
' better do something about it ' Fractus detected the destruction of the wall , quickly identified it as it transformed , throwing its shards to destroy Damo's drill while Yuni planted more to outpace Fractus's destruction of the drills .
Fractus had to spread all of its fragments to consume the drills while Yuni grabbed a pickaxe and started to destroy the core . She swung it , hitting the dead center of the core and sensing a lack of danger ' Weird , I feel like something is supposed to happen '
She hits the core again , confused why the core was not reacting to her at all and with the last hit , the core broke ' Perfect ' suddenly , her danger sense increased as the broken core shook .
Fractus was broken , but that only started the third phase ' Oh right , the guardian of broken legacy , Maybe I shouldn't have broken it ' Yuni wished that she had a prompt that told her what to do instead of just letting her find a weak spot and break it .
"Mir some tips ?" " Did you steal the path of that corpse ? " "You can do that ?" " They're a special case , because they are the failed successor , they received protection " ' So they starved to death instead , maybe they found out about the soul-breaking mechanism but not the protection . must be the placebo making them think they're dead '
Yuni quickly took out the manual as Fractus started attacking " You haven't read it !? " "No But I'm talented" Yuni said and watching how quickly Fractus sent broken parts of itself to Yuni while she was reading the manual and dodging the attacks sent Mir to the edge .
' please don't die , please don't die ' as if it were a mantra Mir chanted through their mind . Yuni was making great progress as she dodged the attacks , letting weaker attacks hit her and healing them .
"By the way , what is with this place and how did you discover it" " What are you dilly dallying for ? Finish the manual " "Relax I got this" Mir was on the edge as Yuni had so many close calls " I'm getting rid of some of your challenges "
' Oh no you don't ' that thought pushed Mir away from allowing them to remove Yuni's challenges "Just answer the damn question" ' God I wanna scream at Mir so badly ' " Fine ! This legacy has a connection with the breaking of realms "
' Interesting and for some reason , I just got leads here ' Yuni put that thing aside and started to take the failed successor's difficult path to succession . Upon succession of absorbing that path , the core's attack froze .
" Identifying successor " Yuni stood up and wrote to Mir "Told you I got it" Yuni went to the core , which was starting to repair itself and she made it go faster by adding her own use into it . After the repair was completed , she asked .
"What legacy do I receive ?" " The legacy of the broken " ' A broken legacy that is just weird ' " You seem awfully experienced " Mir commented ' had enough to experience that ' "What's the source of the legacy of the broken's power ?"
" A long time ago , the branches broke off from the main tree " Ceil quickly wrote down the notes as she was getting some very valuable information out of this world ' So this is how it went huh , the broken Legacy mom stumbled into had a connection with the event that broke the branches of realms from the main tree '
She drew two trees , both of which had their branches broken off , deducing that the reason for breaking them was because of the regression , which Yuni had also thought of too and then Yuni ask more about it .
"Are you aware of more details about the mysterious phenomenon that broke the branches off ?" " No , that is our current biggest research to improve our legacy " ' How did Mir lead me here ? maybe they smelled some very difficult path '
"What kind of path did I take from the failed successor" Mir feels through Yuni and said " It's a legacy-linked path " "Explain" " It's a unique kind of path that my people thought of , It's related to your heritage or the like and people can get in by being born into it , marrying or adoption . "

Yuni turned to the core and asked "Why is it called the broken legacy ?" " The demon realm is always divided , unlike the cities of angels , which have trade , respectable leader and trust . The demon realm has none of that . As such , this broken legacy, has found a way to capitalize on the division of the demons after benefiting from the gramentation of realms and has gained a name "
' Interesting , it's almost like a system ' Yuni wrote down asking "Did you purposely led me here for a young system ?" " Duh , you think I haven't had eyes on them ? The demon realm is very terrible in progress because it's always going to be "if I'm not winning , no one can" type of problems "

She refused the offer of becoming an admin since she had an experience of being split because there were four lower positions ' Now that I think about it , does that also apply to two different systems ? '
She still avoided thinking of taking the admin seat , mostly because she was not planning to lose all her progress ' Plus , I already found that it's possible to have control over a system without taking the admin seat '
