The howling chaos of battle was replaced by an eerie, unsettling stillness. The wind finally blew with absolute silence across the devastated landscape as the massive group of invaders—the 12 Elders, the 4 Kingdom Rulers, Tenzin, and Darius Kaine—stood gathered around the towering, 17-foot-tall figure of The Judge.
Unbeknownst to the group, whose attention was fully fixed on their silent executioner, subtle movement was happening far behind them.
The massive, unhealing breach in the walls of Fort Vigilance that Darius had created using Void Severance was slowly, sneakily knitting itself back together. Deep within the fortress, Captain Solari Lyra was pushing her Celestial Nanoforge and Cosmic Technomancy to their absolute limits, bypassing the conceptual erasure and forcing the quantum-bound lattice of the Aetherstron to reassemble. Beside her, the colossal cyborg Zeraxis Prime was working at blinding speeds, his Cybernetic Mind Sync actively restoring the base's Quantum Singularity Arrays and external defenses to ensure the fortress remained impenetrable once again.
Out in the wasteland, Tenzin "The Infinite Fist" folded his arms across his chest, his golden aura completely calm. He tilted his head, his sharp eyes studying the towering leader of the Six Kingdoms, who hadn't moved a single muscle since unleashing the devastating blast that annihilated Seraphina.
"Why is he just standing there?" Tenzin asked, his voice breaking the tense silence. "The threat has been eliminated. Is there a reason he remains completely frozen?"
Elder Thrynn Kaelos, the Keeper of Secrets, let out a frustrated scowl, clearly unhappy about revealing the mechanics of their leader's power to outsiders. But given the alliance, he begrudgingly stepped forward.
"The sheer magnitude of Stage Three: Apocalyptic Judgement comes with a severe cost," Elder Thrynn explained, his eyes narrowing. "To summon a magical orb capable of infinite destruction, it drains absolutely all of The Judge’s power. It leaves him entirely incapacitated for exactly 5 minutes after the explosion. So, currently, he is physically unable to move."
Thrynn crossed his arms, looking up at the silent giant. "Though, I must admit, I am highly surprised he actually used that ability. It has been hundreds of years since he last felt the need to resort to Stage Three."
Tenzin nodded thoughtfully, absorbing the information. "I see," he said. He then turned his gaze toward the rest of the Elders. "So, what was the grand plan here? Why launch a full-scale assault on Fort Vigilance in the first place?"
Elder Daedric Vorn, the Master of History, stepped forward. His deep, resonant voice cut through the quiet air with the weight of absolute authority.
"We came to retrieve what rightfully belongs to us," Elder Daedric stated, his gaze drifting toward the glowing green gem now safely secured in Elder Lythra Vaelin's grasp. "We needed to retrieve the Power Stone back from the 5 Universes. The Azure Queen, Seraphina, managed to take it from us during the Tournament of Power. We could not allow it to remain in their hands."
Tenzin’s brow furrowed. "And what is the importance of this Power Stone? Why risk a multiversal war over a single gem?"
Before any of the Elders could answer, a dark, cynical chuckle echoed from the shadows.
Darius Kaine stepped forward, his cybernetic enhancements whirring faintly as he rested the flat of The Omniversal Eclipse against his shoulder. "I remember that stone," Darius explained smoothly, his voice dripping with dark amusement. "The Judge and the 6 Kingdoms didn't create it. They took it from us—from The Eclipse Sovereignty—back in a catastrophic war we fought over 400 years ago."
The 12 Elders and the 4 Kings bristled at the mention of the ancient war, but Darius simply ignored their glares.
"As far as I know, the Power Stone serves a much greater purpose than just creating mind-controlled puppets," Darius revealed, dropping a massive piece of lore onto the battlefield. "It serves as the ultimate Key for the Power of Xero. It is the catalyst required to unlock it."
Darius paused, his mechanical eyes glowing as a sinister smile spread across his face. "But there is a catch. The stone is useless on its own. It cannot awaken the Power of Xero without a very specific type of divine healing magic acting as the conduit."
The pieces began to click together in Tenzin's mind, realizing why Queen Elara of the Areala Universe—the master of the Lifebloom Symphony—had been such a high-priority target for the Eclipse Sovereignty.
Without waiting for a response, Darius began casually walking directly toward the incapacitated, 17-foot-tall figure of The Judge.
Instantly, the atmosphere spiked with lethal tension. The Elders and the Kingdom Rulers immediately raised their guards, their auras flaring to life in defense of their paralyzed leader.
"Get back!" roared King Ragnarok, the ruler of the Animal Kingdom. His primal red aura exploded outward, his beast-hide armor bristling as he stepped in front of The Judge, his sharp, feral teeth bared in a deadly snarl. "Take one more step toward him, and I’ll tear you apart, Sovereignty scum!"
Darius stopped, but he didn't raise his blade. Instead, he let out a cold, mocking laugh that completely dismissed the Berserker King's threat.
"Relax, mutt. I'm just taking a closer look," Darius sneered, effortlessly clowning the King. He tilted his head, his gaze dripping with sheer disrespect. "You need to stop being so scared and on edge all the time. Barking at every little shadow that moves... it really doesn't fit the archetype of a King, does it?"
Darius casually turned his back on the furious Animal King and addressed the rest of the group. "I have some information that will play a key role in all of this," Darius stated, his voice ringing with absolute certainty. "The specific type of healing magic needed to use that stone is something called Lifebloom Symphony. It is a very, very ancient healing magic that is known to be the fundamental source of all creation."
Darius smirked, his mechanical eyes glinting in the dim light. "The Eclipse Sovereignty finally found out exactly who possessed it. It was Queen Elara of the Areala Universe. That is the exact reason why we captured her as soon as we found out. Her magic is the exact spark required to awaken the true Power of Xero—the heartbeat of a dead god—and trigger the apocalyptic return of Eclipse Xero."
Darius then narrowed his eyes, openly slandering the 6 Kingdoms for their massive failure. "You allowed the Power Stone to be captured right from under your noses due to your sheer negligence. If we didn't already know the location of Queen Elara, your incompetence would have doomed us all."
The four Kingdom rulers—Ragnarok, Mirano, Nano, and Nogia—exchanged stunned glances. They were completely shocked at this information, having had absolutely no idea about this hidden, apocalyptic depth to the stone.
Queen Nogia stepped forward, her cybernetic eye whirring rapidly as she processed the data. "I knew the primary abilities of the Power Stone," she admitted defensively. "But it always contained a section of translated text embedded in its energy signature that I couldn't understand."
"Yes, because it is Rafarian," Darius explained casually. "One of our members, Nyxara, was born in that healing village. She explained everything to us."
Darius began to break down the true meaning of the prophecy for the rulers. "Originally entrusted to Tenebris in the healing village of Rafaria, the Power Stone serves as the ancient, cosmic ignition key required to jumpstart the dormant Power of Xero—the heartbeat of a dead god. But because it requires an apocalyptic amount of diverse magical energy to act as cosmic fuel, the 6 Kingdoms will host the Tournament of Power to secretly harvest the unique magical signatures and essence of the 5 Universes' champions using modified crystal scanners.
"However," Darius continued, pacing before the group, "even when fully charged with this diverse harvested mana, the stone remains locked and cannot ignite the Power of Xero alone. It must first be awakened by a specific frequency of ancient healing magic known as Lifebloom Symphony. As prophesied by Archanos 1,500 years ago, Queen Elara is fated to learn and wield this specific healing magic as the final spark. Once the Power Stone absorbs Elara's Lifebloom Symphony, it will fully awaken the Power of Xero, granting its wielder the ultimate power to bring about the Second Coming of Eclipse Xero."
Elder Thrynn Kaelos, the Keeper of Secrets, and Elder Daedric Vorn, the Master of History, were practically trembling with rage.
"You fool!" Thrynn Kaelos barked, his intense eyes narrowing furiously at Darius. "You share such classified, forbidden information out in the open like it means nothing!"
Darius merely shrugged, his tone completely unbothered. "It needs to be known out in the open so everyone is on the exact same page. We don't keep secrets like you do."
Just then, the oppressive, terrifying aura of The Judge shifted. The five minutes of incapacitation had finally passed. The 17-foot-tall executioner slowly lowered his massive arms and took a heavy, world-shaking step forward, beginning to walk.
"Stop," Darius commanded, holding up his hand toward the absolute ruler.
The Judge paused, his piercing gaze locking onto Darius.
"I am going to remove the curse Malakar placed on you," Darius stated confidently. "I was the one who gave Malakar the incantation for the curse in the first place, just as a contingency in case he couldn't defeat you 400 years ago."
Darius walked fearlessly up to the towering executioner and raised his hand, his eyes glowing with dark energy as he spoke an incantation in the secret language of the Eclipse Sovereignty.
"Tenebris exsolvo, veritas resurget. Umbra soluta, lex aeterna!"
In an amazing, awe-inspiring moment, dark, heavy chains of cursed energy materialized around The Judge's body before shattering like glass. The Judge began transforming and shapeshifting. The unnatural, smooth perfection of his face and the rigid stiffness of his form warped, peeling away centuries of containment until he finally turned back to his true, normal self.
For the first time in 400 years, the absolute ruler of the Land of Spade opened his mouth.
In a very low, deep, and impossibly calm voice, The Judge spoke.
"Let's Return. The Main District is under attack."72Please respect copyright.PENANAQTt1EVoEaY
