The true headquarters of the Eclipse Sovereignty existed within an endless dark plane, a suffocating void where stars were scattered like mere pinpricks of light.
Suspended within this oppressive darkness were shimmering, dark symbols that formed several Spectral Rune Cages. Inside these cages sat a collection of the most powerful figures from the 5 Universes. Captain Arcturus Valen maintained his perfect military posture, his mind constantly analyzing the void around him. Nearby sat Captain Alaric Voss, glaring defiantly through the bars; Captain Elowen Virellis, emitting a faint Lifebloom Aura to soothe her fellow captives; Kiera Voss, her deadly agility neutralized; Elder Moros; a battered Kenshiro Takamura, quietly meditating; and Dr. Kalmaris Vorst, who trembled in sheer terror in the corner of his cell.
Below the suspended captives, the five active members of the Eclipse Sovereignty convened on invisible thrones.
Zareth Morghul’s shadowy form rippled with dark, void energy as a wicked laugh escaped him. "We have been very successful capturing everyone," he boasted, his voice heavy and oppressive.
Selene Nyx, bathed in a faint, ethereal moonlight that contrasted the encroaching night, nodded in agreement. "Dr. Vorst was a truly unexpected bonus," she said gracefully, turning her gaze to Vesper Noctis. "Thank you, Vesper. Intercepting him and Kenshiro proved to be quite fruitful."
Vesper, his eyes glowing with dark energy, waved off the praise with cold indifference. "It was nothing," he replied, before his tone darkened. "However... there is a much greater prize in play. While hiding in the shadows at the Colosseum of Judgment, I overheard Seraphina and Daichi."
He didn't need to elaborate; the attention of every Sovereignty member was immediately completely focused on him.
"They discovered the secret chamber hiding the Power of Xero," Vesper continued. "Daichi managed to steal it using a dimensional compression Supply Cube, but he was subsequently defeated on the arena floor by their new Sound King. Judge has reclaimed the Power of Xero, and it is firmly in the hands of the Six Kingdoms."
Malakar Umbros, whose strikingly beautiful face was marred by a massive burn scar, sat perfectly still, his omnipresent black aura physically distorting the air around his throne. "He guards it closely, eh?," Malakar spoke, his deep voice resonating through the void.
Malakar leaned forward, his sharp eyes calculating. "We will need that Power of Xero. It is the very essence we need to bring upon the Second Coming of Eclipse Xero."
Kaelus Obsidian, clad in his heavy obsidian armor, shifted impatiently. "My lord, what is our next move then? Do we wait for them to leave the Main District unattended?"
"No," Malakar stated calmly, his dark aura flaring with absolute authority. "Now that we have confirmed The Judge and the Six Kingdoms hold the Power of Xero, we will head over and confront them directly. We know what they possess, and we know exactly where they are."
From within his shimmering prison, Captain Arcturus Valen spoke up. His voice was measured and commanding, utterly devoid of fear. "Do you really think The Judge and the forces of the Six Kingdoms will just let you walk in and take it?"
Zareth Morghul's dark aura coiled around him like a storm. He stood up from his invisible throne, pointing a jagged finger at Arcturus. "Shut up, or I will kill you right now!"
"No," Malakar interrupted, raising a single hand to stay Zareth's wrath. "He has a point." Malakar leaned back, steepling his fingers. "They will not hand it over willingly. We will have to tear it from their grasp. Prepare yourselves. We march on the Main District to claim the Power of Xero."52Please respect copyright.PENANAhDJqAEzhT2
