Talon: “Man, not only did we lose Nu but now Senshi stormed off. Hope Carlos can get her back here because I can’t leave her here.”
Jayden: “While we’re here, I think you have some explaining to do.”
Talon: “I knew I wouldn’t get along with you, especially with Cordis attached to you.”
Vandel: “Enough….we have to get Nu back. It was one thing for Cordis to have Nu but there’s no telling what Shadow will do.”
Ignatius: “He’s right, Magpie doesn’t have much time either. We have to hurry.”
Talon: “You heard him, Jay, let’s just rest up until Carlos drags that woman back here so we can leave through my portal.”
Jayden: “….”
Ignatius: “Speaking of, Jayden do you need healing? I can heal the cuts but I might need help walking afterward.”
Jayden: “...Sure.”
While everyone is healing up, yelling can be heard outside. Seriously, I should really shut her up.
I’m pretty sure we would have ignored it if it wasn’t it for the roars.
Talon: “Damn it, not now.”
Jayden let Ignatius lean on him while everyone else hurried out of the building to find Carlos holding an unconscious Senshi while 3 umbras inch closer.
Carlos: “Guys, Senshi is too sick to fight, I need your help.”
I’m not entirely thrilled to help, we should just let them both die but-
Talon: “Don’t even think about it Moryuu, we can’t afford any more deaths right now. Can you and Vandel handle this?”
Moryuu: “….Fine.”
Vandel: “Right.”
Ignatius is weak from healing, Jayden is not fully healed and Talon needs to focus.
Talon: “Just hold them off until I find somewhere to teleport to.”
Moryuu: “Just don’t take too long, stand behind us.”
Vandel: “I don’t have time for this, let’s finish them quickly.”
Vandel lets loose 3 quick shots to the Umbra, killing all of them.
Failing to keep Nu safe twice would hit him hard, can’t let him fight in anger.
Moryuu: “Vandel.”
Vandel: “Yeah?”
Moryuu: “I know you’re worried, save your bullets for when we save Nu. Don’t worry, we’ll save her.”
Vandel relaxes a bit and lowers his weapon.
Vandel: “….Thanks, are you sure you can handle it.”
Icky black spots begin to form in the nearby allies and the stomping gets louder.
Moryuu: “I’ll do what I have to do, besides, I’m sure Talon won’t take long.”
Vandel nods and falls back near the group, just in case one gets past me I know he can handle it.
I charge a bit of electricity through my body and get into a fighting position.
As if in response a larger than normal umbra lashes out its tongue. I quickly let grab my tonfa and fire it with lightning while another 3 lunges at me. I charge 3 daggers with lightning and pierce them, charring their bodies. Their dying screams cause what’s ever stomping towards us to draw closer.
Moryuu: “So Talon, find a nice place yet?”
Talon: “Don’t rush, I’m not that familiar with this hellscape.”
Vandel: “Do you need help.”
Moryuu: “No, just in case an Umbra gets close you’ll take it out.”
Before long that large blind stone ape emerges from one of the allies.
I dash towards it before it can get close to everyone and despite it blind it notices and throws a fast punch I wasn’t expecting.
I narrowly dodge by sidestepping but a second punch came which forced me to jump but that’s what it was waiting for.
Moryuu: “What the-”
Vandel: “Moryuu!”
Scarily fast the ape brought its hands up high and then brought them down like a hammer.
Moryuu: “Argh….”
The forced shot me down to earth with a crash causing a small crater. I blocked most of the damage but-
Vandel: “Moryuu are you-”
Moryuu: “STOP!”
The beast instantly turned it’s head towards the group and was ready to bolt to them. Vandel readied his gun but it won’t help.
I charge 3 daggers and threw them at its head which didn’t do any damage but it did make it change its direction back to me. I quickly side jumped in anticipation and as I did the place where I stood was smashed leaving an even larger crater.
I looked towards the startled group ready to either run or fight. I make a motion with my hand, they have to be quiet.
They nod and stand as still as possible.
So a stealth kill huh, I relish the challenge.
The beast lumbers around, listening for any sound to signal the start of his rampage. I stalk the corners of the area looking for any opportunity to end this fight.
I pick a stray rock and throw it into a building which causes the beast to bolt towards it and throwing many crazy fast punches which levels it.
I quickly get on its waterfall back before it can notice, place all my bombs, and then use the water to shock the beast, detonating the bombs with the little energy I can spare without transforming.
The blast engulfs my vision and I-

I wrote this part (At least tried to) so you guys can fill in the blanks from when Moryuu fell unconscious and when he awoke. If you guys would be so kind, can you start your chapters like that? It would be their individual reactions to the same events and their own personal reflections at the pillar. So the story actually wouldn’t move forward until Senshi’s or Moryuu’s next chapter(Not including Nu, you can have that take place during these events or after). The next chapters would mostly focus on character development, motivations, dealing with issues, and opening up the possibility of a power-up for some of them.
