這天乘巴士經過，那個熟悉的菜刀招牌已遭拆卸，僅餘下油漆嚴重剝落的部分，有點冷清，有點可憐。

曾經，香港是個霓虹招牌都市，在外國也赫赫有名。除吸引大量攝影發燒友前來拍照，歷年來也有不少漫畫家、動畫製作人和電影人來港取材甚至取景拍攝。

可惜，香港不是個保育城市。

別的國家評定外牆招牌有潛在危險但有保育價值，會去鑽研翻新工程，想辦法保留原有面貌和特色；而香港就一律拆拆拆，將這個城市最具特色的一面拆個不亦樂乎。
