I’ve never admitted

To being scared of any commitment

Never feared being alone

Always prided myself being sole

In mind, body, and soul

Yet the truth is this

I’ve never experienced loneliness within true mist

When even family abandons me

Forever locked away unseen

In a dark room

Trapped starring at the wall, waiting for it to move

I’ve never admitted to being scared of anything

Except that dark room
