It was early in the morning, Amy was woken up by the sounds of yelling coming from downstairs. She got up and got ready for school. As she was getting dressed; she noticed something was missing. She patted her pants pockets, then her pocket on her long sleeved shirt then finally, her jacket pockets.867Please respect copyright.PENANAxQTpr8L6g9

Then it clicked, she was missing her pocket knife. As she noticed it was gone, a thirst started to form in her throat. She started searching for it, where she would normally put it like under her dresser or in her bathroom. When she didn’t find it, she started to panic, frantically searching all over her room, almost tearing it apart, the thirst growing.867Please respect copyright.PENANAlcp2Mtr8Pe

Amy let out a sigh and told herself it was going to be fine. That she probably left it in her locker at school. She grabbed her bag and walked past the yelling and screaming, heading to school. As soon as she got there she checked her locker but to no avail, her pocket knife was nowhere to be found. Amy looked at the small mirror in her locker and started to breath heavy. She started to think about all the different possibilities.867Please respect copyright.PENANAEiDFt42u32

Did her parents find it? Did it fall out of her pocket after one of her classes? Did someone take it from her bag when she wasn't looking? The thoughts started to flood her mind but it was all interrupted when the bell for class rang. She closed her locker and went on to class in a zombie like state. She went on her day and acted like everything was normal, which proved to be no complication for her, for she was a natural at it.867Please respect copyright.PENANAL3I6vo30GU

She just kept telling herself that she just had to make it through this day but those thoughts were being clouded by the fear and anxiety that was slowly starting to set in, the thirst only growing more as the day went on. Half way through the day, Amy made her way to her locker to get a textbook for her next class, her hands shaking as she reached out for the dull book. Amy then looked at the mirror once again until her eyes lit up as a realization came to mind. She looked around before grabbing the mirror, dropping it on the ground; glass going everywhere.867Please respect copyright.PENANAhYegVSqZ9B

Amy picked up the largest shard before running to the nearest bathroom. But before she could, she ran into a teacher.867Please respect copyright.PENANA6KrEVOG8qC

“Give me that glass.” The teacher told her. “I’ll dispose of it properly.” The teacher said before taking the glass and walking off. Leaving Amy standing in the hallway as her hands trembled; the thirst growing into an unbearable irritation.867Please respect copyright.PENANAhZi3i973Ll

Amy made it through the rest of the day, going home after the final bell rang. Amy made her way upstairs and into her room. She rested her head on her pillow, enjoying the silence when she felt something hard under her pillow. She raised her head and lifted her pillow only to see the shiny blade of her pocket knife.867Please respect copyright.PENANAlv0L7a7GTc

She picked it up and held it tightly, getting up and going to her bathroom, shutting and locking the door. She took off her jacket and looked at herself in the mirror one last time, seeing all the scars and cuts adorning her arms. Amy smiled at herself in satisfaction. Finally, she would be able to quench her thirst one last time.867Please respect copyright.PENANAQtSuLJpUZ3
