遊戲公司開發了一款名為「虛擬世界」的虛擬實境（VR）平台。當中集合了各種類型的遊戲，自推出起就風摩了大眾。

阿清自中學起就喜歡跟朋友一起玩網上遊戲，曾經跟朋友建立強大的軍團，有過輝煌的回憶，只可惜後來不歡而散。

事隔十年，他早已投身工作，再沒有沈迷網上遊戲。唯一作為消閒的，就只有手機版的大富翁。

在舊朋友的邀請下，他嘗試玩虛擬實境遊戲，角色名稱是「清水」。

某天晚上，仍然只玩大富翁的他，在「虛擬世界」中遇到了一位不速之客。

留有褐色頭髮的少女赤腳出現，提出了一個緊急的請求。

清水被迫招人組隊，組成十二人的隊伍，勇闖另類的遊戲任務。

「接下來，請開始遊戲。」
