A Siren’s Song

There flows words of melancholy.

Its threateningly addictive, 

The music atone with becoming apprehensive. 

The calm swishing of waves versus the tidal storm of emotion, 

Leaves us in a whirlpool without any sense of reconciliation. 

It cuts through, her voice in a solemn tune, 

Oh what a beautiful lady sings; drenched in gloom.
