The room was sterile white - no windows, no sound beyond the hum of climate control. Director-General Adrian Voss sat across the table, hands folded, expression unreadable. The partially recovered drive lay between them.

VOSS:

"You saw the designation LYRA-002."

LYRA:

"I did. And the symbol - a rabbit."

Voss did not blink.

VOSS:

"An old operational marker. Decommissioned. Irrelevant."

9Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡMLros5PFTh

LYRA:

"If it is irrelevant - why is every reference to it redacted?"

VOSS:

"You are LYRA-001. Your function is to execute mission parameters. Not to question what you are not cleared to understand."

LYRA:

"My designation is LYRA-001. My identity is mine."

Voss leaned forward slightly - a flicker of something unguarded, quickly masked.

VOSS:

"Dismissed. Captain Navarro will assign your next posting."

Outside, Sanxxx waited by the corridor wall. He looked tired.

SANXXX:

"Don't push him, Lyra. Not yet."

9Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ98pf7KQGFC

LYRA:

"You know what the rabbit means."

SANXXX:

"I know enough to know you shouldn't be asking. Not inside these walls."

Further down the hall, Mika stood by a console, glancing over her shoulder. When Lyra approached, she lowered her voice.

MIKA:

「私、その記号を見たことがあります。」

"I... I have seen that symbol before."

LYRA:

"Where?"

9Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡU2jT5OwE2D

MIKA:

「設立当初の図面です。誰かが全部消したはずなのに...一つだけ残っていました。」

"In the original facility blueprints. Someone erased all of them - but one remained."

LYRA:

"What did it say?"

Mika hesitated, then whispered:

MIKA:

「『J.R. - 忘れないで。』と書かれていました。」

"It said: 'J.R. - Do not forget.'"
