CHAPTER 17 — THE LANDING

Location: Outer Spire — Summit Grounds • Dawn

Timeline: 3932 AE/AD

The vessel touched down gently on the highest plateau — no blast, no fire, just a soft glow that settled over the grass. It was not built like anything they knew — no seams, no rivets, as if grown rather than constructed.

Lyra and Elara stood at the front — flanked by Sanxxx, Raven, Wraith, Seraph, and Voris. Aegira, Kaelen, and Lirael appeared beside them, calm as always.

ELARA:

"No hatch. No door."

AEGIRA:

"Not needed. It waits to be invited."

Lyra stepped forward, hands open at her sides.

LYRA:

"You are welcome here. Come in peace."

A section of the hull brightened — not opening, simply becoming transparent, then dissolving into mist. Two figures stepped out — tall, luminous, with skin like starlight and eyes the same deep violet as the Core.

FIRST EMISSARY:

"We are the Luminari. We have come because you called."
