Spooky season has officially begun and what better way to celebrate it than to shiver your timbers! For this contest I am seeking a story of 200-2500 words that tells the legend of a creepy, terrifying, odd, mysterious, or strange creature, place, or phenomenon. This can be based on real legends and recounts, personal spooky experiences, or imagined encounters. The more vivid the tale, the better!
And one more criteria to add to spice this up, the entry must begin with the words, "Have you heard about (...)", whatever follows is up to you.
