Weeks passed.
Thanks to Mei Mei’s strategic maneuvering, Akari's shop had been safely relocated to a secure district right near Jujutsu headquarters.
The morning air smelled crisp as Akari busied herself arranging stacked, vibrant hydrangeas and crimson roses along the front window. She was reaching up to tie a decorative ribbon near the entrance when a pair of familiar arms wrapped securely around her waist from behind. Akari instantly smacked Gojo’s hands away, her cheeks burning.
“Ugh... Distraction.”
Ren rolled his eyes, letting out a long, suffering sigh. Snatching the ribbon right out of Akari's hands, he aggressively tied it himself with practiced precision.
"Satoru... you can actually let go of me now," Akari mumbled, her face flaming even brighter as the sliding door chimed and Gojo's students stepped into the shop.
"Salmon, salmon," Toge waved cheerfully, pointing back and forth between Gojo and Akari with a knowing grin.
"Toge says we're interrupting your date," Panda translated smoothly, poking his furry head over a rack of ferns with a loud chuckle.
Akari finally managed to slip out from Gojo's side, smoothing down her apron as her face remained locked in a permanent blush.
"Wel-welcome, everyone! Ignore him. Can I help you guys find something specific today?"
