One quiet evening, the cat and the panda were playing soccer. The sun sank below the horizon as the panda scored a goal. "Yay!" He said with a smirk, his whole face lighting up. The cat smiled, but as she sat down to take a break, she noticed the dog sitting a few miles away. His eyes glowed with a strange expression, his legs looking unsteady.
She went over to him and sat down.
"What happened, Dog?" She asked quietly, "Are you alright?"
"Ugh," he panted, "Cat, I'm so extremely hungry... but I don't have any money to buy food. Please, help me!"
The dog the cat's best friend, so she really wanted to help him. But she didn't want to use her money.
She looked at him and scrunched her eyebrows, "I'll get you something,"
She went into the town and peeked through the window of a random house. There, she saw a little girl and her parents in the kitchen.
The mother was making some delicious chicken for the girl, and the cat looked at it with wide eyes, thinking, "The dog would love this,"
So before she could stop herself, the cat jumped in through the window and snatched the chicken. As her grip settled on the best pieces, she jumped out. She could hear the girl crying from behind, saying, "I wanted to eat!" Her father was comforting her, but the girl was heartbroken.
The cat took the chicken to the dog and watched him happily eat it.
"Mmm," he said, "That's delicious, Cat. Where did you get it?"
She smiled, "I took it from a kitchen where a girl's parents were making it for her.
The dog raised his eyebrows, "That's wrong! You have to apologize to her. Cat, don't you know that stealing is bad?"
"But I brought it for you,"
"You should never steal. I would rather remain hungry."
