Some people collect stamps or rare coins. Sam collects invisible burdens. Since childhood, his world has been populated by the unseen—from harmless stray phantoms to the heavy, physical manifestations of human despair. It was supposed to be a gift, but to a tired college student just trying to get through a  night, it mostly felt like a chronic migraine. When a routine walk home turns into an unexpected rescue mission on a bridge, Sam has to decide how much of himself he is willing to give away to keep someone else from breaking.
