Synopsis

The Zodiac.

The embodiment of all life and the foundation upon which existence itself stands.

In a world where strength determines destiny, power reigns above all else. At the pinnacle of that power stands the Hojisha, the Holder of the Twelve Emblems, whose authority gives rise to the title of Autokrator. For generations beyond memory, the world flourished beneath the rule of the Autocrat Clan, whose dominion over the Zodiac remained absolute.

Until...

Darkness.

Without warning, the balance that sustained the world was shattered. The universal order of power collapsed, and the authority of the Twelve Emblems vanished from the hands that had ruled them for centuries. The once-mighty Autokrat was stripped of his supremacy, leaving behind only the hollow shell of a ruler who had lost everything.

As the Firmament became consumed by Darkness, chaos spread across existence. The Void within the Ether awakened, pulsing with an ominous force that seemed to beat as the very heart of the abyss. To prevent catastrophe, the growing darkness was sealed away, yet its presence refused to fade. Hidden behind that seal, it continued to stir, waiting for the moment it could rise once more.

While the Autocrat Clan desperately searched for the power they had lost, destiny had already chosen its next bearer.

The Twelve Emblems resonated within a single child.

Born into obscurity and unaware of the burden placed upon him, the child grew under the protection of his parents, who concealed the arcane power sleeping within him. As the years passed and his abilities slowly awakened, questions began to cloud his mind.

Why had he been chosen?

What made his power so different from everyone else's?

And why did those who sensed it look upon him with fear instead of wonder?

What he did not know was that the answers lay within the Ether itself, a realm whose mysteries were capable of bringing even the strongest to ruin.

As the child matured, so too did the Darkness.

From its depths emerged a Demon God, a being driven by a single purpose.

To claim the Twelve Emblems.

Beyond the known reaches of the Firmament lay a realm where only Darkness reigned, feeding an ancient force that continued to grow in silence. With every passing day, the line separating light from darkness grew thinner, drawing the world closer to an inevitable conflict.

Now grown, the child sets his sights on uncovering the truth hidden within the Ether.

A truth pursued by countless lives.

A truth sought even by the First Hojisha.

A truth so dreadful...

That Darkness itself chose to bury it.
