(I didn't realize there were intros and chapter 1's so... oops!)

This is a story I wrote some time ago, and one which I really really want to revisit and continue. It's set in a future dystopia where people pilot massive machines largely through "linking" with them -- and the way to get a better link is to be more physically similar to the machine. Spooky stuff! Which is why our heroine is one of the rare few who was trained to operate a her machine manually. Who is she fighting? Why does she fight? Who knows! Maybe you, one day, if I ever continue this little short story project～

Chapter 1 is still a pretty fun read regardless -- so have fun!
