The girl replied, “He is my brother, and he told me about you. So, I wanted to ask if you had any ideas about love.”

Anvi was relieved to hear that.

“Oh, I have no idea about that. My apologies for the misunderstanding.”

Anvi and Nila looked at each other, confused.

How did she know about that? What was going on?

Anvi started to panic, feeling that something bad had happened.

Nila consoled her, trying to calm her down.

Just then, Anvi’s dad arrived.

Anvi left with her dad.

The Next Day

Anvi went to meet her Physics ma’am because her Chemistry sir had asked her to meet her.

While walking towards the staff room, she met her crush. She didn’t know that the misunderstanding wasn’t going to be resolved and that the real problem was only beginning.

She went inside the staff room and got scolded for sleeping in class again.

After getting scolded, she felt drained. During the break, she went to the washroom with Nila and Mishra . Ishita had informed them that she wouldn’t be joining them, so the three of them went ahead.

At that time, Sneha from 11C started a conversation with Anvi and tried to grab her ID card. Anvi stopped her.

“What are you doing?”

“Mind your business, and don’t touch my things without permission,” Anvi scolded her before leaving.

Meanwhile, after the girls returned to the classroom, some girls from 11C started searching through Anvi’s bag. Ishita was standing beside her bag, talking and laughing with them.

When Anvi noticed this, the girls panicked a little and quietly walked away.

Then Ishita went out to sharpen her pencil, while Anvi and Nila didn’t show any suspicion.

When Ishita casually returned, Nila asked, “What were you doing? And is this why you said you wouldn’t come for the break?”

“What were they searching for in Anvi’s bag? And why were you standing there instead of stopping them from touching Anvi’s things?” Nila questioned.

Ishita immediately explained, “I wasn’t helping them. I don’t know what they were searching for, but they were asking about Anvi and Avinash.”

“Avinash is committed to Iniya from 11C, so they think Anvi is coming between them. That’s why they were searching through her bag,” Ishita said casually.

“Yesterday, Mika talked to Anvi at the end of school, and Anvi clearly said no. But today, Anvi went to meet him. So they were frantically searching for something. What could I do?”

Furious, Nila asked, “Did Anvi go on her own to meet him? Do you even think about that?”

“Anvi went to meet Physics ma’am because she called her. Chemistry sir informed the whole class about it. Anvi didn’t directly go to his class. She just met ma’am.”

“You know everything, right? Then why didn’t you inform Anvi earlier about this?”

Anvi said, “Leave this matter. I’ll handle it.”

Nila was still suspicious, so she decided to talk to Anvi once the class began.

“Anvi, that girl who talked to you yesterday evening—did you inform Ishita about this?”

“No. I was thinking about the same questions, Nila.”

“Are you okay, Anvi?”

“Yeah, I’m fine,” said Anvi. “These girls will probably wait for me during the next break. Besides the stairs, I’ll talk to them.”

“And I’ve decided to make a complaint about this matter.”

Nila was surprised.

“Then this matter will become worse, Anvi. They’ll pick on you for everything.”

Anvi replied, “Checking someone else’s bag is not acceptable, Nila. And I’m not going to complain about the entire thing.”

Nila nodded.

At Lunch Break

As Anvi had predicted, the girls were waiting there.

“Anvi, I think we can drop the idea. These girls look scary, and Iniya is also there,” said Nila.

“Wait. Be patient. I’ll have a conversation with them,” said Anvi.

She walked towards the girls.

“Hey, what do you want? Did you find anything in my bag?” asked Anvi.

They remained silent, scowling at her.

“What’s your problem? Did you ever see me going there voluntarily?”

“You went there for the past two days,” one of the girls replied.

“Yeah, I went there, but not for him. I don’t even know him. I went there because the staff called me.”

“If you’re really brave enough, then talk to the staff who called me.”

“Everything is a misunderstanding. I won’t steal other people’s things, and I’m not that type of person. So, before making judgments, think clearly before accusing someone.”

“Don’t think you’re great just because you can bully someone. If you cross my path again because of these trivial matters, I’m going to complain about the bullying—not just to the DC, but directly to the Principal or Correspondent.”

“Mind it!”

Nila was smirking the whole time, while Ishita was utterly shocked by Anvi’s fighting spirit.

Ishita didn’t utter a word throughout the Maths class, and soon the next period started.

Everyone went to the JEE class. As usual, Ishita went and sat with the other girls. She had insisted on sitting there the last time too. Later, she informed Nila and Anvi, “The class is crowded, and I tried to get seats for us, but unfortunately, I couldn’t.”

“So, I got the seats beside them. My apologies.”

Unwillingly, Nila and Anvi accepted and went to sit there.

Ishita made Anvi sit beside the boys’ side, while Nila sat beside Anvi. When the class started, Jay came and sat in the same place.

But Anvi and Nila were deep in conversation and didn’t notice that Jay was sitting beside Anvi.

“Anvi, I don’t know about today’s incidents, and I know you have a lot on your mind, but I can’t stop thinking about Ishita today,” said Nila.

“She was stunned when you had that conversation with them, and after that, she didn’t even talk to us for the whole period.”

“Speaking of which, I have another crazy doubt. How did she know your crush’s name?”

“Did all this start because of her?” Nila questioned.

Anvi sighed.

“Nila, don’t stress. I think the same thing, but I’m not going to confront her about all this. If she has her reasons, let her have them.”

“Some things shouldn’t be questioned. If we both have a bad feeling about this, then we can just talk to her less, as usual.”

“Okay. We don’t need to share everything with everyone. That’s what I learned today.”

“Be cool,” said Anvi.

“Nila, don’t try to calm me down. Wait!” exclaimed Anvi.

“What happened, Anvi?”

“Did you see who’s sitting beside me?”

Nila looked at her and teasingly asked, “Do you know who’s sitting behind you?”

Anvi slowly looked back and realized it was Arnav.

“Ahh! These two boys are something else! God, help me!”

Nila laughed.

Anvi said, “Jay is trying to talk to me, and I’m trying hard not to hear him.”

“So, help me with this, Nila. Talk to me.”

Nila started teasing her.

By the time the bell rang, everyone was ready to go home.

While walking with her friends, Anvi suddenly noticed her father.

He was talking to someone Anvi didn’t recognize.

Anvi quietly went and stood near where her dad’s bike was parked.

Seeing Anvi waiting for him, her dad came towards her. She smiled brightly at the uncle.

“Appa, who’s that uncle?”

“He’s someone I know. I’ve told you stories about him.”

“You know, Anvi, his son, is also studying in this school. I think he’s your age and in the same standard.”

“I forgot his name, but he’s a good boy. Whenever he sees someone his father knows, he greets them happily and talks to them for a few minutes, wherever he sees them. That’s actually a good quality, you know.”

“And I have a story about him. Shall I tell you?” asked her dad.
