In a village, live a beautiful lady with a long white hair. Her face is pretty, however, only her hair is different from other people. Some villagers look at her weirdly, but others took it lightly, because she is a kind girl, love to smile and greet people everywhere she go with her mother and father. Her name was Bai Rou.
Bai Rou lives with her parents. Their family open a small restaurant and she often helps them. Bai Rou loves pet. She raised a cat that she found in the street, her name is Mao Mao. Bai Rou often let her pet Mao Mao walk around the town, because he really know how to go home alone. Sometimes Mao Mao go home in dirty fur and other times he go home bringing a unique present for Bai Rou.
Like today, Bai Rou comes home and bringing a golden brush to Bai Rou. He greet Bai Rou like usual, putting the golden brush in front of her, and meowing then walk away to his favorite spot near the window, and clean his own body.
“Woah, Mao Mao, what did you bring again today? This brush looks very pretty.. Did you stole it from a store?” Ask Bai Rou.
“Meoww.” Said Mao Mao.
“However, because this is pretty, I will keep it, thank you~” Said Bai Rou.
“Meoww Meowww.” Said Mao Mao.
Bai Rou bring that golden brush to her room. She is staring at the beautiful carving on the handle, and the beautiful and soft that white brush. The golden brush is a magical brush, so it never get dirty, and it always come out white and clean. Bai Rou cannot painting, however she has a unique hobby. She loves doing make upon her face. Since buying one make up brush is expensive that time, and MaoMao bring back a beautiful brush that looks like a new brush, she then use it for make up, like putting blush on, putting eyeshadow, and powder on her face.
Since that golden brush come, she start wearing make up everyday, with a wish to have a kind hearted man to marry her and become her husband, and living a peaceful life like how her mother and father did right now.
Of course the golden brush know it. It listen to every wishes the human makes, even it’s just a small wishes or a bigger one. However, every wishes also come with a consequence if people not using it right. They have to pay the price of what they get.
One day, Bai Rou was helping in the restaurant, serving the food for the customer. A king disguise as a normal villager, come to eat in their small restaurant. The king was bringing his servant. The king was in awe with Bai Rou’s beauty. He call her over to his table.
“My lady, may I know what’s your name?” Ask the king.
“Oh, my name is Bai Rou.” Said Bai Rou.
“Your beauty is hard to explain. Like flowers that grow in winter. Would you want to become my wife and go home with me?” Ask the king.
“I-I… I don’t know, let me think… “ Said Bai Rou.
“You don’t have to think. When you become my wife, I can provide you, you won’t be living in poverty, and our children will living a good life.” Said the king.
Actually she is so happy inside, because finally, what she is wishing for finally happen. She quickly run to tell her parents that someone has propose to her to become his wife. Her parents so happy, as long as Bai Rou happy they are glad. The marriage was accepted.
The next day, so many carriage come to her place, a lot of marriage gift was send to her. So many pretty, expensive and beautiful stuff. The next things happen after that a carriage was coming to bring her and her parents to his husband place for the marriage. They finally arrive, turn out it was the palace. They get inside, and was greeted by many maid, the servant lead them to the marriage hall. Over there, the king was already wearing his marriage clothes, waiting for her.
The two of them finally begin the marriage ceremony. Afterwards, the family can go back. Bai Rou have to bid a goodbye with her parents and start her new life in the palace. Although it is sad to left her parent, but it’s also a duty of a female child to leave their parents and begin a new life journey with her new small family that she build.
Starting from that day, Bai Rou live in a palace, her beauty was ethereal. Moreover, she really good at doing make up, and she become even prettier. Although the king has many concubine, Bai Rou is still one of his favorite, everything that Bai Rou wants or need or wish for, the king always give it to her. Not only beauty and kindness lives inside her, but since she lives in the palace, she learn a lot of things, she become more stand out.
Bai Rou also bore a children of the king. She named them Yin Yue and Yin Jue. Yin Yue born first with a good looking face just like her mother, his hair was white since baby. Meanwhile when she bore the second child, Yin Jue, her hair was black like the king, and hisa face remain good looking like her mother. The king really happy, because both of them are smart and talented. With all of that, the king want to make Bai Rou as the queen who sit beside him. Because of that, some concubine are jealous, and sometimes creating a nonsense gossip about Bai Rou around the palace.
However, Bai Rou lives didn’t ended well like a fairytale book who often written happily ever after at the end of story. Bai Rou was dead the day before her crowning as the queen. She was poisoned by the concubine that are soon becoming the queen. Leaving her two little child mourning and alone without a love of a mother since they were young, Yin Yue grow up with a cold and scary person, a guy who has a bad temper. Meanwhile Yin Jue, who grow with a teacher that nurture him, have an opposite personality, but deeply keeping all the hates of the her mother’s murderer inside him. That was how sad and tragic the story of Bai Rou, who married to a palace but end up tragically murdered by someone who was jealous with her beauty.

The golden brush was then vanished without a trace. Nobody knows where it was. Maybe it was buried down inside the ground or maybe, it is mistically fly back to the creator of that golden brush?..
