　　張耀銘立志成為小說家，但卻非常地不順遂，又被出版社給當面退稿，努力了很久，就只出過一本書。目前只能在超商打工，過著困苦的生活。面對現實的種種壓力，在他決定要放棄唯一堅持過的夢想之時，卻在一次租屋中，意外碰上了寄宿在房間裡的幽靈──小徹，還有住在隔壁的插畫家方琦。
