The Roe siblings have one rule: protect each other.

Even if that means lying. Even if that means forgetting.

Two years ago, their parents were taken to the WorkForce. Since then, they’ve been surviving in the remains of their town, growing food in an abandoned grocery store, rationing what little they have, and gripping on to the hope of their parents’ return.

But hope is a fragile thing.

One by one, the four siblings are forced to choose between the lies that hold them together, and the truth of their reality.

Six voices. One family. Some lies are gentle. Some lies are deadly. The hardest ones are both.
