The voice called out, not from any direction, not with any specific sound. It was as if a string of braile flashed in a blind person’s brain to speak, yet this voice wasn’t from themselves. There was a calling, they knew where they were going, though none mentioned that of its purpose. Was the voice audible, or was it not? It seemed like both, but it was not to be questioned, for that was not important.
They ventured into the forest, with the greenery growing from here and there. The sun pierced through the bamboos, with strands of gold pouring on the ground through the cracks of the woods.
An odd tune reached their ears, it didn’t sound like anything they’ve heard before. It was more tribal, but not tense, more serious, but energetic at rhe same time, more natural, with bushes rustling and birds cooing in the background.
A theatre seemed out of place, but this one looked perfect in the scene somehow. A girl was dancing to the tune, performing occasional jumps and spins, even doing kicks and splits. Although the spectators came unannounced, she seemed to have expected them. Everything was weirdly out of place, yet strangely in the right place, except for those 5.
Ryla saw the silver pheasant from earlier and flinched away, still not over the reaction from earlier like how she’s not over Veretis yet initiated the breakup.
“Hey... Karde says we should try and grab the bird so we might escape.”
“AIN’T NO. WAY. AM I GOING A METER NEAR THAT CHICKEN. You and your mute friend can go alone.”
“Stop calling her that!”
“Well, you have daddy issues.”
No power could be used in the area, still, physical violence was allowed, right? (Not in real life tho, just in here. It’s illegal ok?)
Karde threw a punch at Ryla and made her stumble backwards and wince.
“Fine, I’ll touch the stupid chicken!”
