In my last reincarnation, I was home for the first time when I woke and heard the word "ganihm." I wanted to cry, but of course I couldn’t (heh, heh). When I grew up enough to explore my home world, I learned it had been 40 years since I first died, and in that time, things had changed; instead of looking for an atlas, I explored everything this new era of Ganihm had to offer. I planned my trip accordingly, knowing I had so much time before the atlas decides to find me. First, I visited some landmarks, hitching a ride to and from each island as I explored, and I saw its city, buildings as huge as dragons, and entertainment has changed a lot as well. There are these new types of machines that play music wherever you go; they also have the ability to record your voice, something i found fascinating. Titan has changed a lot in their design, using sleeker designs that now look more colorful, bright, and kinda cute at times. Titan matches are still a thing, but now no one fights to the death, and there are a lot more skeptics than enough to make me laugh at the point because of how unexpected things got.

Second checked up on my friend, starting with Keibuki, who was on an island known as a guild island. Basically, it is an island owned by a guild, and apparently, he found one after it died. It was a beautiful place, and I was surprised by how things were run, especially for someone who was more action than words. I went to meet him, but I didn’t know he lived in a tower. Looking at the place, I knew I couldn’t walk in without fighting the guards. So I planned to sneak in there on the night of the festival, and so I did, making it to where he was resting. When I reached him, he was about to give my presence away, but I calmed him before he could yell. We talked over a cup of booze, he first asked who I was, but I responded with a lie I always use, rosebuz. He gave me a look when I said that, since that name was a code name I would use during untap calls. We caught up, or at least for me, because I didn’t know if he knew who I really was or not, despite my differences in appearance. Our conversation ended with the two of us looking out into the village, and by the next day, I left, but not without leaving a gift.

The next place I went to was the island of the kamaji, an island where half-animal, half-human live. Unlike meeting Keibuki, it wasn’t a place you could walk in without trouble, as I was welcomed with spears near my face. I stated my business, but I was met with mere confusion as they explained that my lion friend, Tee, was dead. He died a month ago while scaring a bandit away when they trusted me. I went and saw for myself, seeing the burial, it was situated at the edge of the village, there was a patch of dirt where he was buried, and in front of me stood his skin, hanging on two cross stick out of all tee was happy out going then all of us so he him like this made me want to burst out in tears or in anger as i was told they found him like that. Suddenly, a young white lion cub began to rub his face against the skin when I saw this, the anger suddenly burst out as I yelled at him to stop scaring himself. He slowly began to cry. I felt sorry for him, I calmed him down, feeling bad for him, I comforted him we talked until sundown, I left having no reason to stay.

My next stop was Omar, well, actually Omar and Ally, because the two got married after I died, and they even have kids. When I came to visit, I began to notice a tattoo mark similar to mine. I had a lot more questions about what if Tee died, and that lion cub had a mark too, why, and would I meet my friends in another life soon?

The next place I went wasn’t easy because I knew once I got there, I would have a lot of trouble making it to a friend's barlameth. I had to fight my way through the demon realm to get to where he was. When I got there, he welcomed me; actually, he recognized me and knew it was me in a new form. We grabbed a drink, as we both talked for hours catching up, it was then I asked, “How did he know it was me?” Barlameth explain. The first is how he stormed into this realm, punching the shit out of his men; the second was a prophecy foretold by someone, it wasn’t my arrival here; it was far from the future, 5,000 years to be exact. Due to a demon's biology, he remained alive, but that life was ended by Atlas. I ask, “If I were there, maybe attempting to stop him,” but I was not. But what else was there? It was a child, his child, who was born with the mark; it was here he explained why my friend's child had the mark. Before our meeting, he returned to the cave that gave us our marks and learned that, even though they were given those marks, it was actually I who had given them the mark, sharing my power. To those who have been given this power, their next of kin inherit it until the battle is over. "This answered many of my questions including about myself"

I asked why he told me about his son. It was then that he asked me for a favor: if I were to come back again, I would take him in. I attempted to reject the offer, but he kept trying to convince me, making a good point: that one day, the next generation, including mine, will have to get involved. After that, I asked where Nala was, then left, but not without leaving a smile and a wave.

The next island was my last. As I visited Nala, she lived on an island town on top of a hill. Out of all my friends, this one was different because she wasn’t a friend; she was my love, and so, as I made it to the door. I fully realized how much things had really changed when I saw her open the door, revealing an old but still beautiful face and. Confused, she asked who I was and why I was here. I told her that “I wanted to learn about the people who saved this world from Atlas.” She welcomed me in, and while she was prepping tea, I looked around and saw a picture of my son how much he had grown. Nala told me our son had left to join an adventurer's guild and how much he reminded her of me. She guessed trills run in the family. I laugh at what she told me about Omar and the others, and about how we met. Seeing her brought a smile, but when she mentioned the promise, I snapped out of the nostalgic daze. I asked if she was angry at first, but as time went by, her anger left, and she was met with a sign of sadness and loss. She still misses me, and I listen to her. I kept my tears in check, but while doing that, Nala cried in front of me breaking out of character. I comfort her, whispering, " I’m sorry before hearing a large bang outside. It was there that my time was up. I quickly ran out before she could catch up. After that, Atlas and I battled it out, and both died. As I write this, I miss my home and those I left behind *sob*
