The afternoon sun gently illuminated the school hallways, filtering through the windows and casting long shadows on the polished floor. Biel and Yumi walked together in silence, the weight of their farewell hanging in the air between them.
"I can’t believe you’re actually leaving," Biel said, his voice laced with suppressed sadness.
Yumi smiled melancholically, hugging her backpack against her chest. "Me neither. Everything happened so fast... but I couldn't stay. It’s something my family decided."
Biel looked away toward the courtyard, where other students laughed and chatted, oblivious to their parting. "We promised we’d face whatever came together. But now..."
Yumi placed a hand on his arm, gently interrupting him. "It’s not a goodbye, Biel. Just a 'see you later.' I promise we’ll see each other again."
"Do you mean it?" Biel asked, a spark of hope in his eyes.
Yumi nodded firmly. "I will find you, no matter how much time passes."
They stared at each other for a moment, as if wanting to engrave that instant into their memories. Then, without warning, Yumi leaned in and gave him a quick, tight hug. "Don’t forget me, Biel," she whispered against his shoulder.
Before he could respond, she pulled away and ran toward the exit without looking back. Biel stood there, watching her disappear from sight, with a hollow sensation in his chest.

Three years passed.
Time had marched on mercilessly, but Yumi had not forgotten her promise. With her heart pounding, she stepped out of the taxi that had brought her back to Hanasato, her old city. She had spent the last few weeks searching for information on Biel until she finally obtained an address.
Standing before the house where he supposedly lived, she took a deep breath and knocked. She waited. Knocked again. No one answered. An elderly woman passing by noticed her confusion and stopped.
"If you're looking for the young man who lived here, you won't find him," she said with a tone of regret.
Yumi felt the air leave her lungs. "What do you mean?"
"He disappeared over a month ago. No one knows where he is."
Fear settled in Yumi's chest like an unbearable weight. How was it possible? She had waited so long for this moment, and now, Biel was simply gone.
"Maybe at the antique shop they know something about him," a deep voice interrupted. Yumi turned and saw a mysterious-looking man in a long coat.
"Antique shop?" she repeated, clutching at any clue.
"It was the last place he was seen," the man replied.

Yumi arrived at the antique shop, her heart racing. She pushed open the heavy wooden door, and the chime of a bell announced her entry. Behind the counter, an old man with a serene gaze and a face lined by years watched her with curiosity.
"Welcome, young lady. What brings you here?" he asked calmly.
"I’m looking for Biel. I was told this was the last place he was seen."
The old man sighed and slowly shook his head. "That boy is no longer in this world."
Time seemed to stop for Yumi. "What... what are you saying?" her voice trembled with a fear she could barely contain.
"That’s right. Biel is no longer in this world, and he cannot return."
"No... It can't be... He can't be dead!"
The old man let out a soft chuckle. "Don't make that face, and don't cry just yet, child. I never said he was dead."
Yumi's eyes widened. "What do you mean by that?"
The old man leaned in slightly. "Biel lives in another world now."

"That doesn't make sense... You must be joking with me..."
The old man smiled. "Observe," he said, holding a crystalline sphere containing a golden mist. As the mist cleared, an image began to form. It was Biel!
"Biel!" she whispered in awe.
The image sharpened. Biel was in a strange place, surrounded by imposing structures and creatures that didn't belong to her world. His expression was different—more determined, stronger—but it was still him.
"He... he’s alive?"
"He is more alive than ever. But his destiny has changed. If you have come this far seeking Biel, perhaps fate has something prepared for you as well."
"I’ll do whatever it takes," Yumi said with determination.
The atmosphere in the shop grew heavy. "Can't he come back?" she asked, her voice trembling.
"No. That world is his home now."
"Why did you send him there!?" she demanded, her frustration boiling over.
The old man looked at her with infinite patience. "I sent him because he is one of The Sent (Los Enviados)."
"The Sent?"
"That’s right," the old man affirmed. "They are beings chosen to save that world. As a God, it is my mission to send those heroes."
Yumi’s eyes widened in shock and confusion. "Wait! Are you... a god?"
The old man smiled faintly. "Indeed. I am Aetherion, God of Creation... or as some call me, the Creator God."
Yumi’s head spun. A god! It all sounded impossible, yet her heart told her it was the truth. "So, did you create that world?" she asked, still trying to process it all.
Aetherion shook his head gently. "That world has existed for a long time. I was designated by Higher Entities to protect it and guide the Sent."
The words echoed in Yumi’s mind. "Higher Entities? You mean there are beings even more powerful than gods?"
The god nodded solemnly. "There are."
Yumi crossed her arms, trying to piece it all together. "If you are a god of another world, why are you here and not in your own?"
"Because I was sent by those entities to this place with the task of finding and guiding the heroes destined to save it."
The young woman lowered her head, feeling despair wrap around her once more. "So... you’re some kind of guide?"
Aetherion smiled with a hint of amusement. "If that is how you understand it, then yes."
The silence stretched between them until Yumi took a breath and asked again, "Is there truly no way for Biel to return?"
The god watched her gravely and shook his head. "No. There is no way back."
Yumi’s heart ached as if someone were squeezing it with all their might.
"...However," the god continued, "you have the opportunity to live with him, if you so desire."
Yumi’s eyes lit up with a mixture of surprise and hope. "What do you mean?"
Aetherion narrowed his eyes with an enigmatic expression. "I can send you to Biel’s side, but only if you accept one condition."
Yumi’s heart hammered in her chest. "What condition?"
The god held her gaze. "You must live in that world. That is the condition."
A shiver ran down Yumi’s spine. That meant abandoning her home, her life, everything she knew. She bit her lip, thinking of Biel. Of her promise. Of the void she felt without him. She took a deep breath and looked up with determination.
"Fine. I accept that condition. If it means I can be with him, then that is what I will do."
The god watched her with interest, a slight smile forming on his face. "What determination you have, child. Tell me, do you like Biel?"
Yumi’s face ignited like a burning ember. "That’s not important!" she exclaimed, looking away.
Aetherion let out a soft chuckle. "Oh, but it is."
Aetherion raised his hand and extended it toward Yumi, his gaze shining with a celestial glow.
"I grant you power, wisdom, and experience in this new world," he declared with a solemn voice. "Now, you shall be capable of equaling Biel and aiding him on his path."
Yumi closed her eyes as an immense energy enveloped her. She felt a comforting warmth flow through her body; her mind expanded with knowledge she had never imagined, and her strength increased drastically. When she opened her eyes, the change was overwhelming. She felt lighter, her stance was firm, and somehow, she felt... powerful.
"This is incredible!" Yumi exclaimed, flexing her fingers as a faint golden aura surrounded her.
The god smiled with satisfaction. "Currently, Biel is with his friends on their way to a mission designated by the guild. I will send you to him now."
Yumi nodded, ready for whatever was to come.
"Fear not," Aetherion continued with a mischievous smile. "Your arrival will gladden Biel... and make the others jealous."
Yumi blinked, her confidence wavering for a moment. "Jealous?"
The god let out a hearty laugh. "Let’s just say Biel has attracted... quite a bit of female attention in that world."
"What!?" Yumi’s eyes went wide. "Don't tell me he's been flirting around!"
Aetherion shrugged with an innocent expression. "Well, I wouldn't say it’s exactly his fault... but let’s just say he’s attracted a fair share of admirers."
Yumi crossed her arms and frowned, puffing out her cheeks.
"Tsk... and here I was, worrying about him while he surrounds himself with girls. This won't end like this."
The god snapped his fingers, and a golden magic circle began to form beneath Yumi’s feet. "Prepare yourself, young warrior. Your journey begins now!"
Just before vanishing, Yumi pointed an accusing finger at the god. "If Biel has a harem, he’d better have a damn good explanation when I get there!"
Aetherion let out a hearty laugh. "Oh, I’m sure his reaction will be priceless."
Light enveloped her completely, and in a blinding flash, Yumi vanished, bound for the new world. The god remained alone in the antique shop, a thin, amused smile on his face. "This is going to be interesting..."
In the bustling Adventurers' Guild, Biel and his team were gathered at the counter when the receptionist, wearing a professional smile, handed them a sealed parchment.
"You have a new mission," she announced, looking at Biel with interest. "You must eliminate three dragons that are attacking travelers along the trade routes."
Biel smiled, feeling a surge of excitement. "Good. This will be our first official mission as adventurers."
Charlotte, his sister, nodded enthusiastically. "That's right, little brother! Let's show them what we're capable of!"
Acalia crossed her arms, a glint of amusement in her eyes. "This promises to be interesting."
Sarah, Xanthe, and Raizel looked at each other before exclaiming in unison: "Finally, our first mission as adventurers!"
With firm steps and an imposing presence, they marched out of the guild, looking every bit like a group of legendary adventurers... because, well, they were.
They were about to reach the city gates when a blinding light illuminated the area. A pillar of light descended with majesty, casting a long, imposing shadow on the ground. Biel instinctively moved into a fighting stance and raised a hand to alert his group.
"Stay sharp, everyone! I think we have trouble."
The light intensified, and a female figure began to materialize at the center. Suddenly, a voice rang out from within the radiance, laden with drama and reproach.
"I see you have a harem and you forgot all about me, you cheater!"
Time seemed to stand still. Every member of the group blinked in shock and bewilderment. Charlotte covered her mouth to stifle a laugh, while Acalia arched an eyebrow with curiosity. A cold sweat ran down Biel's back.
"W-what...?" he stammered, his mind failing to process the situation.
The female figure emerged from the light with determined steps, crossing her arms with an expression of clear annoyance. "I see you didn't waste any time," she said with a heavy tone of irony.
Biel blinked rapidly, his brain working at full speed. "Is this an illusion? Some kind of cruel joke from fate?" he whispered to himself.
Sarah leaned slightly toward Acalia with a playful smile. "This is getting good."
Charlotte nudged Biel in the ribs. "Come on, little brother, I think it's time you reacted."
Yumi took one more step forward, the light finally dissipating completely around her. "Biel, don't tell me..." she started to say, but Biel finally let out a long breath and stared at her.
"It’s you," he whispered, his voice a mix of disbelief and relief.
